I could do with a few blasts of SNG001. Managed to catch Covid on NYE, exactly the same as last year… what must be the odds of that happening?

I actually had a very nasty bout of flu just before Christmas, laid up in bed for days with a high temperature. This isn’t as bad… a bit wheezy, sniffly and generally feeling meh.

Some good news from Synairgen would probably help the most!

They mention a few times there that they are unable to exercise them if in possession of price sensitive information.

Very interesting. Or perhaps I am reading into it too much?

If I had a pound for every time someone posted they can’t sell and something must be up, I’d be a rich man.

I'm personally positive on MATD, but I'm not sure I can take you seriously when your mood on MATD changes whichever way the wind is blowing.

Hamm - what can go wrong?

- Corruption.
- Change of government/policy.
- The Chinese coming in and bullying to get all the new exploration licences.
- MATD not telling us all the facts and indeed needing a fundraise (I am invested in another company where the CEO explicitly stated in September no fundraise would be needed, yet in December they did one!!!).
- WW3 (it wouldn't matter where your money is if this happened).
- Something completely left of field we've not thought about.

I don't think any of these will happen, but the point is that this is not a dead cert.

But yes, roll on 30p!

Polygon have indeed added. But I don’t think they know anymore than the rest of us… well, clearly they don’t otherwise they would have waited to invest until after February!
I just think they have made a calculated decision, averaging down massively for relative peanuts. A bit like lots of us on here.

FTC7- very true. I’m just hoping that the positive crumbs from the P3 deep dive, our successful ACTIV P2 trial and those senior reps from the UK NIH and US NIHR who said SNG001 merits further investigation mean that we are given another chance.
In addition, while Covid flaring back up, albeit so far mildly, is not good news for humanity, it might just mean drugs such as ours are indeed investigated and given those chances to prove themselves.

Around 70p for me. For a relatively small outlay (to my overall current book cost) I could get it to around 57p. I might even try to get it to circa 50p but as mentioned previously, I might hold off until I’m more confident they’ll be no fundraise.

I have significantly increased my holding post February and so even getting back to the heady days of £2 would be a very nice result.

I suppose it’s my subconscious expectation management kicking in again.

I’m hopeful. But at the same time it has been so long since we’ve had materially good news/positive move in the SP that I almost can’t see it happening.

FTC7 - I think we agree for the first time ever!

Similarly, the fact Covid stocks in general are up matters not. If we have a similar 40% rise to NCYT it takes us back to what, 18p? As has been the case for a long time now, only one thing matters, at least for LTHs well underwater… getting on a trial.

Thanks, Tiptop. But which bit am I listening to? I watched the two short videos where they say they are confident on biotech and pharmaceutical stocks in general, but nothing specific about us or even IFNb?

Roger65 - it’s only light-hearted banter. You do strike me as more on the nervous end of the investor scale but I can tell you are genuinely invested and want POW to succeed. I’m a very new investor here and relatively small, albeit adding to my holding as I do more research, so can only imagine how frustrating it must have been. Although I do own other stocks which have been anything but plain sailing.

I hope you’re wrong, Docdaneeka. And that instead we land a big trial or three, SP back up at £2 and full of hope we’ll get a P3 pass in 2024!

The nice thing now that makes me a bit more relaxed is that we have velociraptor and are pitching for other projects. So worst case and Heron continues to suffer delays, we at least have other things to fall back on. But I really do hope Heron pushes on now and makes us all some money.

Any stock like this where it is making no profits is priced on hope value. There is more hope right now, hence the increase in SP. But ultimately we’ll need hard and real news to land to really shift the SP and for it to maintain it for any period of time.
