It does have a whiff of the pre SPRINTER debacle when we were recruiting then. But as DocD and me were saying the other day, it would be truly shocking to make the same mistake twice. We just don't have the cash to be recruiting on the off chance something might come up. For all of RM's and SNG's shortcomings with regards to comms, I still believe having met them that they are trying hard for this to be a success.

MrCosts - genuine question, why do you think they have been recruiting, even a £40k a year position? If a potential PT was insistent on it, for example, then we’d surely be wanting assurances it was a goer.

No one should listen to trolls like Andybe4, who was clearly dropped on his head by his foster parents as a baby and clearly isn’t the full ticket, but they need to realise we don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. We could end up announcing multiple trials. We might not. We don’t know yet. As ever, some better comms from them might not be a bad idea.

Does anyone know why the MG haven’t already handed out the LP? They can overrule local government and have said we can have it, so why hasn’t it been printed out and posted? Why the delays?

In principle this is true. But Polygon have been topping up relentlessly, so I'd like to think they do think the product at least has prospects.

Aether - there is great debate on here about Polygon's average in price. But I believe it to be 90-100p. So they are not going to sell out for less than that, surely?

Would they instead go for a hostile takeover? I'm sure many on here would take 50p now, but I'd personally be very disappointed with that. And would the BOD accept that, when they own so many shares themselves, giving up their fat salaries? Unless of course Polygon committed to keeping them on in exchange for their support...

Whatever happens, I really hope nothing crappy and underhand goes on that ends up fleecing loyal LTHs.

Wording like this does (IMO) suggest something is in the offing, it just needs to be ironed out. Especially the "as soon as we have a concrete agreement" part.

You’re missing my point. If the LP isn’t with us within the next fortnight, why? And what would then give us confidence it would be with us be April?
