What's the story with Range Resources? Not come across that one.

Talk of 100p is premature. Even the 26p. But I do expect the SP to almost instantly re-rate to 10p IF/WHEN LP lands and then creep up from there. I'll most likely sell 30% of my holding at 10p to cover my in costs so I'm on a free ride with the rest.

But nothing anywhere near certain as yet. Although the MG pitching to the likes of the Canadians gives me hope they will play ball and get this LP sorted. Otherwise the likes of British Ambassador Philip Malone should get on to his Canadian counterpart and tell him to steer well clear. The MG surely know this.

Incredibly brave to sell out now if hoping for a cheaper price to buy back in. Positive news might not land for months, but it really could also land any day. I’d be devastated to sell out now at 10p and then see some kind of announcement and the SP pop. Even back to 20-30p would be pretty horrible to have to buy back in at. I’ve always said that for me the pain of seeing the SP go to 0p would be nothing compared to being out of the stock if it shot up, especially after all this time.

I don’t agree with Ghia’s assumption “they have yet to find the clear route” forward. They might not, but I don’t think we can say that with such certain. FWIW, I think they have decided on a path forward and are working on it, but of course it’s only my opinion. I suppose the job advert is one reason for this and I did think that such a senior role would usually require someone already in a role to give at least 3 months notice, perhaps 6. So whatever might be in the offing could be a little way off yet.

One final word on that SP. I couldn’t give a hoot if it falls to 1p while we wait, unless it falls because of RNS’d/confirmed bad news. And while it might drift lower, I do think we are close to the bottom, valued now at barely more than the cash on account (yes, admittedly dwindling). If it does fall below 10p, I’ll be having another top up. As Axe pointed out, what would’ve cost £50k in January 2022 now costs £2.5k, so they are relatively small top ups in cost terms and compared to new positions I’ve been taking up in other stocks, but they are significantly reducing my average in price here.

UWOS - I don’t think many dispute the potential price targets. But it all hinges on that LP. Sadly, yet another month has passed us by and the hard fact is that we still don’t have it.

ProfessioNOT - I spend an unhealthy amount of time on here but at least I'm a LTH who wants to read the crumbs of research and see SNG succeed.

I reckon you spend even more time on here but you reckon you use it as a place to gauge when to buy and sell as a trader, hahaha!!!

Things look very grim when looking at the SP and time that is passing by. But very quickly things can turn around. A long shot and dream perhaps, but imagine if we were announced as a STRIVE candidate for outpatient taking up where ACTIV left, and simultaneously announcing a second P3 trial that will run alongside it for inpatient but sponsored/JV'd with J&J. All of a sudden, don't things look better.

I've always said the odds are against us but I still see POTENTIALLY very big rewards here, albeit perhaps not the numbers hoped for in the depths of Covid.

Back to that SP... perhaps best not to focus on the SP too much. It can play tricks with your mind and make you think irrationally. if you hadn't been able to see the SP for the last few months and didn't come on LSE, I'm sure we wouldn't feel quite so gloomy. Amazing what a SP can do for your mood, even on a long term hold. For me, what factual negatives have there been other time passing by with no confirmation of a trial (hopefully as yet)? We haven't had a cash raise, we haven't confirmed we are not on a trial, we haven't had resignations or cost cutting.
Instead, we have had a new senior job advert, an observational trial presumably progressing nicely with Janssen, the NIH and ACTIV confirming "we merit further investigation", one of the top guys in this area (Rick Bright) singing our praises...

All the while we are valued at cash in the bank and therefore worthless. IMO I don't think we are worthless. Not just yet, at least.

Where it's declared "Petro Matad is a research client of Progressive", is that effectively saying MATD pay Progressive and/or is it truly impartial?

I would just point out that the 58p is RENAV taking into account Velociraptor and potential success there. I am more inclined to look at the RENAV without Velociraptor, which is still a very nice 26.7p.

I also think they skirted over the LP issue a bit too quickly. It's THE issue and what is stopping this being 1-3p versus that potential 26p!

Just got in after being out all day and seen there were 62 posts today. I knew it would be mostly nonsense from the usual batty brigade but wow, there's nothing but!

SP now more or less reflecting what cash we have in the bank, albeit that is being spent on wages and diminishing. Doesn't seem right to me and I see value in the fact we have passed two P2's and missed P3 by a gnats dangly bits.

Regardless, even if this goes to zero is it really worth the stress some of you are putting yourselves under (MrCosts, seriously the BP must be off the charts). Just please for all of you and your own health, never invest in a small biotech again.

Well Axe, despite everything that has gone on, I still hope that party at Big Johnny's comes in. I've always said the odds are against us, but the potential rewards if we land another trial still justify the investment and risk. And I am not overly happy with RM's lack of communication and I'll be raising that at the AGM, even if all is well by then.

Roger - if someone wanted me to provide an example of someone who is a glass half full type of person, do you know which direction I'd point them in?! ;)
