I wouldn’t know where to start with working out ROI on the renewables stuff. We just don’t have any information yet. But many major markets trade around 10x earnings. As this would effectively be government backed, it’s probably about fair.

But I reckon that is way off. All that matters for now is getting this damned permission/signature and getting on with Heron. Anything else is a bonus. But I likely would hold onto a few shares to see how it all plays out.

Silver springs - your optimistic scenario is well thought out. My problem with any potential positive play going on behind the scenes is the fact our CEO appears to have given up. That leads me to think that it’s probably not good news.

Just reading John Cowan’s bio. 40 years in the industry, setting up his own company and selling it etc etc. So not a young guy, clearly well off. No wonder he’s cleared off.

Cowan really does seem to have done a runner. Surely an RNS in the morning or by Friday latest to confirm he’s gone. That should halve the SP again, if not mean a full suspension with the company in such disarray.

It just occurred to me that around this time last year MB did an interview saying we were nearly there, “1-3 months” from October 2022…. The SP duly jumped from 2p to 5.5p and a raise was announced.

Fingers crossed that this years positive Christmas RNS isn’t a precursor to another raise!

29SK - no one here will know. But experience (and the SP) would lead you to believe it is more than likely the end. It’s certainly a long road back if they do survive. The next few days/weeks are critical.

I’m expecting another bad RNS before this year is over. Will it be so bad as to be terminal and the end of COPL? Very likely IMO. But I’ve held on to see how this plays out.

ART123 - I’m sure there is a way to rescue this, albeit with massive dilution. But with the CEO seemingly AWOL and a lot of smelly shenanigans going on behind the scenes, I don’t think they want to save it. I do think this has all been engineered to benefit someone and shaft the PI’s.

I'm calling BS on this. Only 5 trades went through at 0.55p, all for small ish amounts. It was also only this price or better for around 45 seconds post RNS and Armageddon happening. Unless a stop loss was put in place...
