To be fair, that 648k shares sale is quite chunky. But it’s end of the year, they’ll be all kinds of rebalancing going on.

MD - I read that as the JV talks are over. Of course, there’s always a chance they could be resumed but the message is clearly that this particular party has walked away.

The problem now is that if they did resume, we are in a much weaker negotiating position.

Sure, I didn’t expect a strategic update following Cowan’s cowardly and mute departure, but how about they let investors know… you know, a bit of politeness or basic courtesy to shareholders that have propped you up all these years, and when you’d announced just a few weeks earlier that they’d be a strategic update?!

Im 99% sure this company is toast but I’m still holding here because a) my holding is now worth a pittance, b) that 1% remaining chance, c) if there is a class action lawsuit against them, I’d like to take part!

Delays about to be announced? I thought they were scheduled to start in H1 2024, i.e. potentially June. We’re not even in H1 2024 yet!

If there are delays announced and the SP falls to say 3-4p, I’ll be topping up. I expect a rerate, perhaps only small, when the P2’s finally get going and again when we are close to results.

Mani - I could be wrong but I really don't think we need a cash raise. The BOD could have been lying at the AGM, but they were insistent that we had more than enough funds to complete the P2's - we've not even started them yet, so I don't think a raise is required.

The fall in SP over the last few days is minimal in the grand scheme of things and is likely just small, STH PI's cashing in because they've spent too much for Christmas.

They should have put in the CEO resignation RNS that the strategic update would be delayed. Because it clearly will be. But we’re dealing with cowboys here.

Yes, the 2024 strategy update that was due before the end of 2023 looks like it’s been canned! I’ve truly never invested in another company quite like this. You live and learn.

And Radika - usually when a CEO is ousted or suddenly resigns, it’s for not such good reasons. I think we’d all agree that it would’ve been better if we’d seen GGS working, the lenders not pulling the rug on us and our CEO remaining in charge of a company that was heading the right direction.

Reserves that I sat in the ground and which take a lot of money to extract. Indeed, sadly it seems COPL are struggling to extract enough to keep afloat.

Stas - your comment to AJEP that he has sold at the bottom, well, time will tell. He might have sold out for 0.35p more than we will get.
