He may ultimately crash and burn on Twitter for sure. His position on Covid was wrong but he was looking at it purely from a Benthamite perspective and in pure greatest good of the greatest number terms, the world probably should have let all the old and vulnerable snuff it instead of allowing the economic meltdown we're now facing. Not my opinion of course - I'm glad my mum and dad are still with and us the world decided they were worth saving - but it's a popular argument in some corners and economically it's unarguable. Spacex exploded 3 times on launch and 4 times on landing - but he kept driving it forward, finding new investors when it looked like the 3rd launch explosion would be the end of the project, and now Spacex is Nasa'S launch vehicle of choice for the space station and beyond. Tesla trucks will soon be hauling 8 ton loads 500 miles on a single charge.
The trust fund line is utter boll.oxios too. He's the richest man on earth and yes he got some cash from his dad to get started but thousands - not millions.
Disliking someone intensely should not cloud your vision to the extent that you fail to see the magnificence too. I mean - the ****.ing scale of the man is just immense. Bond villain, anti-christ, guru, sociophobe, superman, second coming - all are true. The only thing i like about him is that he quotes Monty Python - but so did that other whack job Jonny Depp.
