Certainly looking very solid today. Nice rise but as Sisy says still lots of upside with a positive trading update due. Quite excited by what they will have to say actually.

Hasiba- explain exactly how this is overvalued? I do not think it is possible to put a valuation on this stock now. The sky truly is the limit. I mean I’d like a cheaper buy in price too but there’s no guarantee on that…. This is quite an unusual situation.

Taken a small initial position this morning (1k) bang on the placing price.

Growth prospects look v good. US expansion. Lack of competitors. High margins. Operational leverage kicks in next year.

I’m a newcomer here btw. Late to the initial party but I think this has got a lot further to go so not worried about paying higher price. It will look cheap in time.

I can’t see 64p being broken until they have confirmed mine re-opening plan. If it’s rapid - good - if not - not so good.

Getting £2m in this market for juniors at slightly above market price no mean feat.

Current market valuation £3.75m

SL Project NPV £127m

Thus the current market valuation is at an astonishing 97% discount to the NPV.

And when you consider the current JORC is when they have drilled less than 10% of their licences and that the current drilled areas are still open at depth.

Not to mention that the THM grades are some of the highest globally amongst their peers.

If - or should I say when the current mess is cleared up and the mining licence is reinstated - this is going to have to rerate very substantially and by that I mean multi multi bag. Do the Maths yourself.

You can clearly see the placing shares, clearly a drag on the share price currently.

Hopefully not after the next set of drilling results

You are aware of the issue with the tailings dam right? If mining is going to ‘resume any day now’ what is your proposed solution for the tailings dam?

But seriously my interpretation of that term fwiw is ‘not an unreasonably long time’ ie.possibly weeks or at most a couple of months …

Sisyphus - I 100% concur with your analysis. The H1 report was positive and encouraging fir the 2nd half and I am confident of a bullish trading update which is now due in the next two weeks (going by previous years).

Investing here is now ‘in the right place at the right time’. Very confident the SP has bottomed and there is considerable upside from here with the company getting close to profitability.

Also, and not least, the company is in an extremely strong position now to secure new business with the banning of hard chrome plating in the aerospace industry and this is now set to be a strongly growing part of their business.

It is clear that slowly but surely CMET are, by patient dialogue and careful progress, winning this ‘battle’ with corrupted authorities.

I am confident of a successful outcome now and can see very substantial upside in the SP once this happens.

Looking forward to a much brighter 2024!

I’ll bet Justin Waite is gnashing his teeth at market reaction to latest (seemingly stellar) results.

Watching his podcast yday (I believe he has a big holding in XPF) he was prattling on about this being a long term change in consumer behaviour (experiential leisure). Hmmmm🤔

I’m not so sure. Boom Battle Bar absolutely seems like a ‘fad’ to me. I visited the BBB in Exeter to see it for myself and ‘experience’ it. The place was large but largely empty aside from a small gaggle of women throwing axes (very badly I might add). Wasn’t impressed although in mitigation it was midweek and the shopping area itself was quiet. It would be interesting to have a look on a Friday or Saturday night.

As for the Escape Rooms…. Seriously? I did it once and once was enough. Another fad I’m afraid and there is plenty of competition out there now too.

So is this a long term investment? Absolutely NOT. Biggest risk is its faddiness. It has NO permanency about it whatsoever.

All that said in the shorter term there ‘could’ be a bit of money to be made but I see much better opportunities elsewhere.

Decided to take profits for now. We’ve had two decent days of rises and now I think a pause while market waits on mine reopening plan. This is now key. If it’s rapid - all well and good. But any further delay for any reason and it won’t be taken well.

Prepared to jump back in again if the mine reopens speedily.

This caught my eye today. CWR no longer AIM but a constituent of FTSE250.

Surely this is significant? Does it not mean that institutional funds invested in the 250 will have to buy a weighted amount of CWR? At the very least it puts CWR more firmly in front of the ‘bigger boys’ rather than us retail merchants!

I too like this company. It’s a long term play but looking at where the SP has already reached in the past few years shows you the vast potential here.

On the political front I am sure the Tories (who have not embraced hydrogen) will be whooped at the next election leaving us with a labour government. Labour IMO will be much more pro-hydrogen which will be hugely positive for Ceres.

Mp12345 - that was the first thought that occurred to me as well. A small company and clearky for them, a significant appointment, otherwise why post it?

So my first question is what on earth is an ‘Advisor Strategic Partnerships’? It doesn’t particularly sound like a management role. My second question is what qualifies her for such a role? I guess I’ll check her resume if possible. My third question is partnering with who?

Fourth question - What knowledge and experience does she possess which is currently missing within the company? (Knowledge gap)
