Hi BumBum, I am overlooking that & I do wonder that given the current circumstances the announcement will be delayed until next year. Pointless the Company issuing news, when the share price is being suppressed.

Doesn’t look like anything substantial will occur here this year. More likely a continuation of the 5 Month Side-Channel Management, with the possibly of some small moves in either direction. Targets now Q1, but more likely to be Q2, next year. Yes that’s another 6 Months. All Covid dependant. Unlikely Opec+ will move against the US but they might delay next years increased production. For those Day Trading, Industry guidance slightly down on yesterday, today’s reference price 42.30.

From a technical perspective this is going to be interesting if Oil continues to fall. PI’s may not be the only ones sweating. Good to see the Wiz Kids getting caught out for a change & getting a taste of their own medicine.

The Prop-Desks were pretty brutal with PI’s yesterday. Opening the stock up, holding it in a side-channel & closing it below the PDC. Trapping everyone that bought over the day. Currently there is a lot of volume sitting on the system at 40p & a lot of global uncertainty, take care.

Scheduled for Thursday. No change to output expected. Forecasts for next year might see the same or the planned 400mbpd increase cut in half, Covid dependant. Demand returning to pre 2021 Covid levels over the year.

The strategic reserve release will impact the market towards the end of next week. Some think it’s minimal & others that it with over supply the market. It’s anyone’s guess if Opec+ will cut supply next Month, probably unlikely due to politics. No one yet knows the impact of this new variant of Covid with up to 50 strains. A new vaccine takes 90 days to develop. Next Week will be key decision time for the wiz kids managing oil share prices.

Looks like the Industry is really trying to hold on to 43p, no open down then on Monday regardless of how low Oil falls. This really is so obvious. 43.50 close ?

ScotsloveTrump hi, people overlook that there is an Industry sitting in the background that controls the share prices & makes their money primarily from activity, up or down. Looking from the other side of the shop counter, I see this as two large trades. 7p last year completing at 66.22 this year, due to volumes dropping off. It could have continued to 80 & now the current trade. Which is visually & technically very different in it’s make up but still just about inducing volume.

O look Oil may have bottomed & might be starting to rise, what a surprise. Someone here asked about trading, this maybe your opportunity ? small bits to start. But are the Industries Prop-Desks in ahead of you ?

Nothing apart from a drop in the Oil price, it’s business as usual. Tullow is a great cash generator for the Industry. Low volume makes it easy to move the price. PI’s fed up of the stock being held in a Side-Channel for 5 Months, while Oil peeks. Simply short sell the stock down & spooked PI’s sell, to allow you to cover. It’s as good as printing money & works every time.

If Blackrock are off loading their position then that’s probably the reason why the stock is trading below it’s 50 & 200 day moving averages. A. because of the sales & B. to ensure they get a duff price. Re volume yes this is trading like an AIM stock but when it passes 50p PI’s will notice it & momentum will take it up. This might even be in the 70’s in Q1 next year. The UK market trades very differently to the US market, due to the low participation rate of PI’s.

The largest volume in the Ask column was at 48.48 yesterday, today it’s moved up to 60p. RSI, MACD & Money flow, all continuing to move up. Near term guidance almost at 50p.

Hi Bailiff, anything is possible. A large market correction or collapse in the Oil price. Both are unlikely at this time of year. There is also the possibility that this position might run into the next quarter. But I think it will complete by default. There are many indicators over the past few Months. Recently the shorts part closing & the Fund increasing it’s Long position.

By year end, why because 45.50 base line Side-Channels don’t run forever.

The answer to that is when the Debt is paid down & Profits are paid in Dividends. Dividends are the holy grail for stocks. This will then be a whole different ball game as Pension & Income Funds will buy in. Others here can answer the timeline better than me, possibly sometime over the next 10 years ?.

There’s no action at all on the WTI tape. Looks like it’s frozen at $76.53. Last trade was at 07:38 Eastern. Grate opportunity for the Industry to move these stocks down. Lets see if they can get Tullow down to 40 by the close.

A key political price at the pump in the US is $4 a gallon. In some states it’s recently been $7.50. Some are predicting it will be $10 at some point next year. 250 new well licences have been awarded during this presidency, with little effect. Oil stocks are vastly undervalued. That said this is the UK Stock Market.
