The majority of shareholders at the time of the demerger would have elected to sell the shares as it wasn’t easy to find a broker that could hold them. As such Evr were to sell the shares on the holders behalf and return the money by November. As it stands that hasn’t changed.

If you were capable of reading between the lines you would maybe understand that I was saying what a top company Evr are, with great returns. No doubt you’ll make your money then move on, that’s what it’s all about.

Last year was great for dividends here, we had a payout on April 7th then two weeks later another divi was announced. A lot of these newbies are creaming themselves over this latest divi but Evr were the top divi payer in the FTSE last year, I personally had a 22% return in divis, seems like a lot of these divi hunters didn’t do much research last year.

The Guardian reported yesterday that Roman will get $450m in dividends, total crap, 417m x $0.50 would have been $208.5m when I went to school.
A lot of talk about Roman selling his shares in EVR but he will still hold approx 175m shares in RASP, with all the major shareholders locked in for a certain period before they can be sold.
