If you read the RNS it states where the purchase has been made

Instead of guessing an amount to spend,read the RNS dated 5th April and that will give you all details on the buyback programme

For those hard of calculating and not reading the RNS , the max number of shares to be repurchased is 3,881,238, the £97m ish is the sum allocated last year for the buyback, the shares already purchased would be substantially more than todays price, maybe £20-25 equivalent.

If re-investing the divi with HL it doesn’t really matter as they only re-invest from the 11th of the month onwards.

If you can navigate that far back you’ll see I stated prior to ex div that I was selling up and buying back on ex divi day, all there in black and white.

I find it a bit crass when people post details of their trades, especially the ‘I’m in’ brigade.

Ps -with the £ strengthening almost daily against the $ your divi is reducing daily.

To be honest I really don’t give a crap as I sold out on the Wednesday and bought back on ex divi day, made my 7% increase in shares while you and many others are still working out the tender.

Stifel purchase 68 shares from the shareholder leaving 932.

The company use the £680 allocated to buy back from stifel and pay the shareholder £714, £34 profit on the sale but no dividend paid on the tendered shares , If this is the true option then it’s a no brainer, don’t do it
