RTN have managed this crisis well, bringing forward restructuring plans by several years has placed them in a favourable position going forward. They are not out of the woods yet but 12 to 18 months down the line they should be very profitable indeed with all the restructuring costs out of the way. The purchase of wagmana has proved a god send, as without this transaction RTN may not have survived. Accept they overpaid but at least they have a viable business as a consequence. Looking forward to the coming years and a profitable return on my modest investment.

Vascular it's a valid point that you are making. There is no doubt that there could be some leeway re the 98% v 97.8%. The Blair report and even the specification document indicated there (posted earlier) could be flexibility. For me it is down what the tests are going to be used for and what the additional clinical risk is. If you mass test x million people to establish prevelance of antibodies in population I would suggest minimal impact on results, or clinical impact. I am no scientist so could be wrong!

There maybe others ways to flex capacity, longer hours and/or sub contract rather than cease development work. Not sure we actually know if 2m is 7 day working or early/back shifts?

Agree completely great idea and all proven tech. CE antigens tests are for professional use only, is my understanding, that's my query re some form of regulatory approval for personal use particularly for events. I maybe wrong but no matter, there is a market in workplaces. If it's very accurate which I suspect it is, it will pass all regs anyway.

Accuracy is the key as any significant levels of false negatives could be a problem. The Aberdeen work will hopefully verify its accuracy. I agree its a medical device, however it performs a diagnostic function so suspect there maybe some regulatory hurdles to be overcome, as this is potentially uncharted water. Whilst the value of my investment may have gone down from the high, any gain /lose will only crystallize if I sell. To have lost significant money you would need to have been very unlucky and invested on tuesday or wed morning and sold out. Whilst l have sympathy for genuine investors l have none for traders chasing a quick buck. They know the risks and win some, lose some and some are very successful, others less so. It's the hot share traders that contribute volatility in a share just look at other Covid shares most have had significant volatility in last months as the money swills around on impending news. For long term holders most will be in paper profit even at the current price. You may regret not having cashed in buy heyho its not the end of the world. This share has some way to run in the coming months we need to wait and see.

Personal view is the BT will be a collabaration with partners who will take a slice for their inputs. Whether or not this requires an additional fund raise/ placing we will need to wait and see. GB has indicated this is not required as they have sufficient funding in place currently. Not sure I share the view re business acumen as they have been quite innovative in generating revenues in other areas of the business. No doubt we will get clarity in the coming weeks/months.
