I am not a scientist but not sure you can identify a covid infectious person with a blood test
. Finger prick tests can identify antibodies for Covid. If this is the case then the Pocdoc test is a bit misleading. Happy for those wiser to shoot me down.

For me the USP for the BT is when it is able to identify pre symptomatic/asymptomatic as well as symptomatic, it really would be a game changer. I have high hopes for the Aberdeen results and hope we will get an early xmas present re this.

A workable vaccine announcement will boost market sentiment and SP, however this is likely to be short lived as the time lag between vaccine development and roll out. WHO are gearing up for 20% of world population being vaccinated by end of 2021, that maybe sufficient to let virus run wild amoungst fitter non vaccinated population. This gives a flavour of timescales for sustained SP increase in my view. In the interim I will take opportunities to top up in the coming months as it will rise as business volumes increase.

Think the US test is a nasal swab antigen test for professional use, so not really comparable to the Mologic one.

All the RTC have been expanding manufacturing capacity, as has Mologic. I am absolutely convinced they will all play a major role in the LF testing manufacturing requirements of the UK govt, be it antigen or antibody tests, Mologic/Avcta. Volume, margin and longevity will determine the SP in the coming months as all becomes clear.

The Abbott test is a nasal swab I think, if so accuracy maybe affected by ineffective self collection. Also the S&S based on symptomatic patients which could also be an issue. These are not easy tests to crack!

Pyueck I do not fully understand the termination fees issue, but as yet we do not know what the financial implications for FGP will be, as far as I can work out. As you say the rail franchises have hardly been profitable and the removal of franchise was not driven by FGP or for performance issues so not sure why govt expects termination fees, presumably contractual interpretation which will be challenged no doubt? Not sure I agree re CEO going as he and the other franchise holders must have signed similar contracts so think a bit harsh asking him to go for this reason. Non delivery of US asset sales that do not at least cover debt and pension liabilities would be another matter! For FGP to survive as a UK public transport provider it needs a very healthy balance sheet given margins.

FGP UK income streams will not be affected by any travel constraints. Rail income is guaranteed, albeit at reduced levels, as are bus subsidies for as long as it takes.

The last study showed about 6 to 7 % have had virus by the time we get to end of second wave will be lucky if its 10%. Herd immunity strategy will cause hundreds of thousands more deaths and no responsible government will adopt that course of action. This is a deadly virus and we will find out soon how deadly if people continue not to take precautions.

Since July FGP have taken mitigations and clarified income streams to avoid covenant breach. The Board quite rightly said in the September update they will continue to monitor the position and take action as required. They are currently not close to breaching covenants at present.

They stated in the last update in September they met covenants comfortably, do you think they are misleading shareholders?
