The longeviety of the ODX covid portfolio is becoming clearer. Covid will be with us for many years, the vaccines will provide herd imunity to protect the population, but it will not stop outbreaks in areas of the world with low vaccine uptake, think measles. That means continued demand for antigen testing. How long will vaccines be effective for is another unknown , again antibody testing likely to be required for sometime to come. This is all good for ODX in the coming years.

We already know revenues will be down in H1, Rns 20/10. We will get more detail on costs and maybe some clues re production levels via stock movements, etc. It is looking good and this will be confirmed by sales in coming months.

Muggins OK agree cash run rate but have you not ignored the cash raised in the H1 cash flow statement?

I get most of the figures but a bit confused how the MW annual cash flow is (2,300). Where does the funding raise fit in as it provided the 800 cash at end H1.

Maybe get an insight into the US asset sell off strategy and progress this week with a bit of luck! The sale price of these assets should reflect to future potential earnings from these assets. The school and transit assets are profitable with good margins, excluding insurance provisions, which in my view are a short term pricing issue that will be rectified in contract renewals. We will see but remain positive a good price will be achieved.

Whilst news of a vaccine welcome, not sure markets as yet fully appreciates the logistics involved in distribution and timescales. This vaccine will vaccinate less than 10% of the worlds population by the end of 2021. Other vaccines will be developed as well, WHO are targetting 20% coverage by end of 2021. This would be a remarkable achievement. Covid will not go away even then and testing is likely to be required for sometime yet, so you can see potential for the water test products for sometime. Then there are the reasons I originally invested, for me a lot of mileage left to go.

The Turner Pope note suggested demand in excess of 100m tests per month to support mass testing. Prof Bell said 6 LF tests had a high accruracy levels so likely all tests that meet criteria will be used to meet the expected demand. For me the cake is big enough for all so cannot get animated re progress or not of individual tests. As long as the Odx/Mologic test makes the cut and we have no reason not to think so, we will easily sell all we can produce.

Been looking at the annual accounts and my reading is the NBV of US assets seems to be circa £2.8bn. Debt is circa £1.7bn excluding leased assets. If they realise the book value after paying debt they will have over £1.1bn cash less pension deficit and anything due for termination fees for rail franchise (tbc Dec?). That said we do not really know the deals being proposed for the US asset sales. Do these include property assets or not, are they looking a straight sale or some kind of floatation, the list of options is wide and sure we will be surprised, hopefully pleasantly! As long as we get at least the NBV of assets then we may get a dividend of some sort.
