Whilst the acquisition may have had some bearing on the price rise, It's really down to market sentiment due to vaccine availability and the belief normality will be returning soon. The acquisition is on the mnzs website so not a secret, I personally thought it worthy of an RNS however it seems not material enough to issue one.

I thought in Liverpool where they tested using LFT's, anyone who tested positive was given another PCR test to verify positivity and a significant percentage were found to be negative. I agree re behavioural issues and testing is better than not testing. Sure the debate will go on for a while, thanks again.

Can someone explain why a test that has 99% specificity i.e. identifies if you are negative is an issue? The concerns re low sensitivity of 70% are understandable in they can identify false positives, this is solved by giving a PCR test to all who test positive to confirm. Please tell me why I am wrong with this! Personally rhink the issue re care homes is training in use and resources to do it are the reason for not using rather than test itself.

It's an antibody test so should pick up antibodies, however different technology used to create so is their a difference in performance is the question. Given how much has been made re link with AZ vaccine it's a fair guess there is. Maybe one of our more science based contributors could tell us. The point I focus on is orders, for both the new tech vaccines they are currently far lower in UK than AZ. This makes me think RTC test is likely to be the favoured test, providing the AZ vaccine makes the grade in terms of efficacy, ease of use and cost. We will all find out soon enough!

TomBeef they have acquired 51% of a private company (T/O $20m) to operate as a JV. If they have not paid anything for the 51% there must be an investment commitment. May need to wait until next update to find out how much!

Antibody tests are blood based. What Vantam said regarding crowds was of interest and relevant for BT. Even if vaccine rolled out to vunerable people by Spring, a big ask, what then let it run wild? That would be irresponsible imv and suspect access to events will require tests to minimise outbreaks. Covid is not going away as was stated again by VT.

Yesterday there was mention of Sunup being an investor. Do we know what the enlarged DV investor profile is, as we may have II's from MWG?

Abingdon is the lead however the contract says min 25% to ODX. Yes only 20% in IPO, do you think existing shareholders will sit tight with their 80%!

I still fail to see the attraction in Abingdon people seem to have and the relevancy to ODX! Rainbow chasers may leave hoping for a quick buck, they better be quick, the IPO is an exit strategy for existing long suffering investors! Why would next bid tender go to Abingdon only, ODX are a consortia member of the RTC and cannot see that being broken up, what benefit! Last point show me the product portfolio Abingdon have compared to ODX.

FTH cannot reconcile attachment to claims re intolerances! Agree it's a big potential market.

I was certainly happy with it. Had to look up LaaS (logging as a service) hope that is correct! Adding value to services whilst attaining synergies along with a global outlook is a winning formula in my book. Also hinted more opportunities in the pipeline when growth discussed.

For me no positives or negatives the ODX contract with Abingdon remains unchanged.

Think we are talking 22/23 before these tesrs ready at earliest if I recall. One of the questions asked at the previous presentation was will ODX look at further collaboration with Mologic to which they said it was possible. I like the idea of ODX collaborating with test developers in future, it provides a larger portfolio of tests, maximises capacity utilisation and minimises development costs. POC testing is a growing market that ODX will be well placed in.

A vaccine will allow life to return to normal at some point, my bet is still late summer early autumn. In the interim restrictions will remain in place depending upon prevalence, for restrictions to be minimised a lot of testing will be required to control prevalence. Even after we get to "vaccinated herd immunity" testing will still be required as outbreaks will continue for many years unfortunately. I can see mass gatherings in particular, being subject to continued testing to minimise potential spread. Think Glastonbury where 30% have had no vaccine, it would not take many infected people pass on to many more. It is still not clear if people who are vaccinated can transmit the disease yet thereby creating another threat. Covid will be a major public health threat for many years, we will need to find ways to live with it, so there is normalisation in society and the economy.

It says both saliva and swab in the RNS today under antigen.

Highly unlikely bid of 50p would do it for the majority of shareholders, now add a £1 and you maybe getting into ballpark imv. Nice to hit 40p again, oil/gas price uprate.
