Waste water testing comes into it's own when prevelance is low/endemic and will be used for many years to identify outbreaks early (not just Covid). DV are well positioned to maximise opportunities in this space providing an efficient, economic and flexible service. Will be interested to see what guidance (hopefully) we get for this part of business in 2021 as think it will be major income contributor. May get an insight tomorrow.

Not sure I agree news so vague and contradictory. We know antigen progressing as planned and will be available Jan. We know capacity gearing up as planned. We know RTC test compatible with AZ vaccine, it will be for others as well. We know the vistec anibody test is being marketed. I agree order RNS would be welcome and it will come. Sentiment seems to drive price down it will drive in opposite direction as well, very soon.

Meakin why would you think good news would filter out? I tend to avoid companies that ramp potential to boost SP, usually for the wrong reasons! ODX are a very straight company so you get news when appropriate and market sensitive. It is investor sentiment that reflects SP. If you are considering an investment in ODX a tiny bit of research is required, max 4 hours, then you can decide, but sure you will already appreciate that. Sorry a bit narky tonight!

Much as I would love to see the Sp rise to pre covid levels by Easter however that is predicated on a complete return to normal very soon. Think the odds on that are very long, at best think it will be late summer/autumn before we start to see sustained activity increase and maybe 300p+ a share. Hope l am wrong but MNZS, much as l love it, has not really been a great performer to date (6 years) in my portfolio!

I think the bar efficacy wise is 50/60% or thereabouts. Think many have been surprised by rates so far claimed, this is why we have regulatory process. Think AZ will pass approval process, it may take a wee bit longer but not much.

Heardy think you will find the last person with these powers was Winston Churchill! Millions are dying in these countries mainly from poverty and preventable diseases. The reasons figures are low is a mixture of poor recording and demographics, a lot less people in these countries do not make 60! As for trashing the economy hardly, it will recover, unlike the alernative of letting it rip when thousands would die unnecessarily.

The company selling an antibody test claims it identifies infection before symptoms appear! Something not right.

There is no doubt that the majority of the market has had a boost from vaccine announcements and many think that covid is finished. This has impacted most perceived covid shares negatively as part of the market rerate. Covid will be with us for many years and next year will be no picnic. Testing both antigen and antibody will continue to be required in significant numbers in order to manage covid, consequently good covid shares will rerate upwards. I do think that PI's fingers will start to become stickier in the next week or so as the penny drops.

Did you research say when Snellar saved ODX from "bankruptcy"? Unfortunate term was used others may call may have called it an investment! Also think you will find board has changed since then.

Anybody who has a valid antibody test therefore ODX in the mix, remember there will be billions of people vaccinated. Until we get orders confirmation we need to wait and see however I remain positive ODX will get a share, we are not increasing production and recruiting staff for no good reason.

Vaccines will require antibody tests to verify the longeviety of the vaccine as nobody knows yet how long any vaccine is effective for. The questions are whose test will be used and how many and how often will they be required. For those questions to be answered we need to wait, it will all become clear shortly.

Certainly think there is an end in sight, the question is how long it's going to take. Do think we should stay well off bottom from now on in. The next 2/3 months will be crucial as it becomes clearer as to when the flight market picks up and subsequent SP impact. CFO purchase positive support for SP.
