If you believe ODX will only produce 175,000 RTC tests then so be it, but my money is on a lot more sales in coming months.

I am very pleased with the approval in China as it underpins future earnings for ODX post Covid peak. That with WHO approval for CD4 test cements ODX position as a diagnostic test developer and manufacturer. That with the allergy business at least supports a SP in excess of a 100p. There are also the new products non covid in development. Covid products for the next few years will also generate significant revenues. All this does not matter to many PI's who frankly cannot see past the daily movements in share price trying to get their 10%-20% gain on trade. I have no problem with this strategy but it's these traders that cause most volatility in SP not II's selling or market maker games as is often suggested.

I thought the Mologic antigen was a saliva test, the Oxford university one is nose and throat swab!

Possibly but bodes well for the ODX/Mologic antigen anyway as demand will be high.

DG 12 I have always thought that regulatory approval would be required of some sort for use in the UK/EU. If the product is accurate, then there should be no problem, the question for Govts is how will it be deployed and for what purpose. I can envisage many scenarios in many industries where this would be a very useful tool, that could allow sectors to operate reasonably normally. Govts around the world will determine their own priorities for the use of this product. I still see the development of an accurate BT as a game changer in the fight to contain this virus.

The concept of a BT is not new. The key is accuracy and deliverability. Aberdeen will tell us more about the former and the latter is well progressed through DV's collaboration arrangements. The revenue consequences of this project could be significant in 2021. The next month or so will be very interesting indeed.

I doubt Mr Snellar has had much impact on share price given that ODX is primarily owned by PI's many of whom are basically traders. Its a bit like blaming the Govt for Covid spread when it's peoples behaviours that cause spread!

The breath test is a product of our times. Many organisations across the world wether public or private are cooperating and collaborating to find solutions to this pandemic. DV and it's collaborators are doing what they should at this time. Also sure they are progressing other business strands as well but do agree updates on this would be good.

If you wanted to determine the reduction in antibodies would you not test the same people over time? Taking 3 seperate surveillance studies and linking prevelance changes to antibody reduction seems to be indicative rather than conclusive to me!

RegulatorUK Agree completely but they would be remiss not to try out all options for testing, which will include the Odx/Mologic antigen no doubt. Hopefully a good update re this on Wed.

The scottish govt are looking at new testing technologies including this one. The purpose, assuming validated, is to test specific asymtomatic groups currently being decided. Likely to be visitors to care homes being one group, it will therefore be free to these groups.

Unvrkw yes but you do not swab nose as well as mouth! I may have read incrrectly.
Think a long term relationship with Mologic good plan, they could be very complimentary with benefits of R&D, manufacturing and markets.

Mologic antigen test is saliva based, the Sun article mentions nasal swab as well as mouth swabs, maybe misread or bad journalism. Do not think this is ODX.

Whilst I accept the Kudos associated with MRHA approval would be nice, the bottom line is the UK govt are purchasing without it. The Govt do not want OTC home antibody test primarily behavioural reasons, as has been discussed before. It may happen at some point in future but the main use currently, is for epidemiology studies and support vaccine development and roll out. ODX are building capacity and developing high quality products for which the demand will be strong, in six months time the SP will reflect this fully.

It looks like the biosure antibody test to me that they are using which is an antibody test not an antigen test. I have said before if the BT identifies asymptomatic and people pre symptomatic then this test will be better than existing swab PCR testing as these people can be missed currently! We will see soon enough.
