The main purpose of antibody testing is to improve understanding of how transmission occurs, who gets it and why. We need a lot of questions answered re this and mass antibody testing will answer the many questions re this virus. This knowledge informs decisions regarding therapeutics and measures to contain the virus. The timeframe for this virus is a lot longer than many seem to envisage even with a vaccine next year. There will be significant demand for both antigen and antibody testing in the next two years possibly longer.

It confirms further underpinning of revenues. The forthcoming update will be with us soon so a bit more insight into how they managing will be good.

This is an inappropriate test for an inappropriate purpose from what I can see. Using an antibody test to detect covid is wrong as you do not produce antibodies for some time after the infection!

I was reading the DfT 2019 annual review of bus transport services. Whilst passenger numbers down slightly, a continuing trend for last 10 years, bus mileage reduced by a greater number, again a continuing trend. On revenues, 40% came from government via concessionary fares, grants and direct subsidy to keep loss making routes running. These figures are for England and the proportion FGP receive will be different. It does however show that bus services were already heavily subsidised pre Covid. Bus services are therefore a key part of the transport infrastrucure of the country. For FGP, they should remain focussed on providing high quality services in terms of reliability, efficiency and environmentally friendly and they should be on a winner.

Upomega completely agree re Sp not sure market grasps the potential. The Cd4 test and food detective will form a significant revenue stream post Covid. The timimg for Cd 4 could not be better as peak demand should come as Covid subsides. The other tests being developed should also support new revenue streams. The potential for Odx to develop even more rapid POC tests is bound to be in their thinking. Odx is likely to have a nice cash pile in a year or so it is therefore very likely some of that will be invested in future tests as well as existing. They may even look at acquisitions as a way of speeding up test development and or capacity. Also hopefully have a dividend policy as well. The market for Poc testing is growing rapidly and I can see Odx becoming a major player in what is currently a fragmented market unless the majors start taking an interest. We will see interesting times though and very pleased with my modest investment to date.

Pyueck the UK govt support for UK buses and trains for the foreseeable future, reduces the going concern issues for these parts of the business, confirmation via a trading update, that these businesses are at least breakeven would be welcome. Re US assets progress on plan to disinvest these assets would be welcome. I do agree that the insurance claims make these businesses unprofitable currently and sure a potential buyer will reflect this in the offer price. That said it is a contract pricing issue that will need to be passed on to consumers in future, so any bidder will know current insurance issues short term so may not mark down bids that significantly, we just need to wait and see as usual!

Hopefully the half year update will not be delayed for too long and we get one in the next 3 weeks. With a bit of luck breakeven or better and a profit forecast for year end. Will depend on how order book has held up we will see.

They are certainly covering the bases re rights/placing issues. I agree getting support will require an update re current position and a clear rationale why any such fund raise is required. The sell off of the US assets should easily negate any raise you would think! Personal view, this is just in case, as they say no intention of exercising! Cannot see Coast agreeing or some of the other II's agreeing but you never know. Interesting times.

The latest surveillance report indicated 3.4m people in UK have had Covid, this is approx 6% of the population. The mortality rate is circa 0.9%. To achieve herd immunity circa 70% would require to contract the disease that would mean about 40m people resulting in circa 360k additional deaths. Yes therapeutic treatments will impact the mortality rate but we are someway off having an acceptable mortality rate that would allow herd immunity to be achieved. If and when we hopefully get a vaccine it is unlikey to be available for general use for sometime. I personally think at best we could be ready by autumn 2021 for general usage. The point I am trying to make is that we are more than likely to be living with this disease for a lot longer than most think. So talk about Odx being slow to market and governments slow to react are not really appreciating how long we will be dealing with this disease. This means that Odx is well positioned in the short to medium term which bodes well for the patient.

Re odx and T cells question 33 in the Q&A basically says Odx will not be developing poc lateral flow tests looking at T cells. Its a technical issue.

They are evaluating dozens of tests in India and other countries, as there are a lot about. Odx will have a accurate, cheap and easily used test so will get purchases if the product right as will others. Demand will easily outstrip supply in my view.

Odx is up five fold from march think that compares well!

Yes demand for the RTC product could well exceed the initial 10m they are gearing up for. Odx could easily agree to double or triple their share if they wished. Got the feeling from the investor presentation that Odx wish to keep capacity available for the other Covid products coming down the line. You would not take this view unless you fully expect demand to exceed supply for all products most of which will be more profitable.

The cost of supporting the rail industry needs to be considered against the costs of not having one. The short term economic impact would be significant and does not fit with govt policies at present. If Covid becomes long term then yes policy may change , not for a year or so I suspect at the earliest.

Odx will have a significant cash pile next year and year after. What they do with it is interesting, dividend, organic growth or aquisition? Odx more likely to be the acquirer rather than the acquired! We will see in time.

Commercial flights were down over 50% in July compared to last year. August may improve further but some way to go to reach pre Covid levels. I am sure I saw that swissport took part in screening/testing trials so agree could be an additional income source for MNZ. We have had no RNS or update re MNZ involvement in such services as yet but value maybe low.

Agree hopefully will reassure market by mitigating going concern issue as not time limited.
