Great day today for me, I finally got my top up funds, & bought £40k worth of vod at £1.31. Add to that, no late fall for the vod sp, so no moaning Mikey! What more can a man ask for. Happy or what. As for the covid jab, unfortunately there are still too many idiots who refuse it! 4 weeks to go until lock up!! How good would a 1.40 + vod sp & end of lock down be? Wow!! Newbie. Cheers Pete, it was a joke of course, getting your wires crossed, uncrossing brain/trade. If you look on this site, london south east, at vod share trades, if it says U/T after the trade, it is is an uncrossing trade. U/T trades are very common, & I think 15million is quite small. Still ,sorry if I was rude.

Newbie. Sorry Pete, but it was an uncrossing trade, not a share sale. It has been explained so many times on here before, that it gets a bit boring. Read mole mans post, or just google uncrossing trade to save further confusion.

Shorting bitcoin. It looks like you can't spreadbet/or c.f.d. bitcoin anymore, I have shorted in the past with I.G. index, But no more, so sorry if I caused any confusion there. Still at least, I wont be tempted to lose sleep trying to do so. Good luck all, with vod.

robleo, If only I had sold all my vod shares & shorted bitcoin when they were over $60k I would be very rich now, probably would have died of worry & lack of sleep though. I did think about shorting them, but, I lost my nerve. So a bit of a moan from me! As for vod being a sinking ship?! The band played on, with me as the conductor. Who was it that was going on recently about big heavy iron ships not sinking? Vod is unsinkable, I think? Come on Amigo's. Especially C.S.D.I. who we all miss. Fleccy, No not a fund, just a fraction of a bit coin. The easy way to invest in the rise of bitcoin, if you are spupid enough to do so, is spread bet. You can bet £5 to the dollar for example. You could short instead if you want,a far better idea, but still very risky. I think there is a fractional unit of bitcoin called a satochi?

fleccy, Sorry to labour on this, but having agreed with a lot of what you say, I must point out that you don't have to buy a whole bitcoin, you can buy a fraction of a bitcoin, you can spread bet bitcoin as well. So you can of course lose your life savings gradually, instead of all all in one go. If bitcoin worked the way the fanatics believe, we could all just be very rich, give up work, & then of course we would be in big trouble. The whole point of money, is to reward people for working, if you can make money by just buying bitcoin,then why bother working? As for bitcoin being non inflationary, & you can't just print more, how would the government have paid for furlough? I don't how many of you have been furlough'd, but without fiat currency (bitcoin instead perhaps) you would have got nothing. Bitcoin is the biggest conn of modern times & very, very, dangerous. Be warned.

Sorry Stanno, but you asked for that. fleccy, you don't have to be cynical to realise Bitcoin is a conn, just common sense. But sorry, as this is the vod chat, & the bitcoin chat should be on the bitcoin cryptocompare forum. The trouble is, most on there are brainwashed crypto fanatics. Hello mole. Do you own Bitcoin, OK none of my business, but just thought I would ask. I think though the point is being completely missed here. There is a world of difference between a bank backed, government backed, regulated crypto currency & the Wild West unregulated, heavily manipulated bitcoin. Bitcoin does not own a patent on crypto, so if/when a properly backed, regulated crypto currency comes about, bitcoin will be worthless, except as maybe a gambling tool,or just a currency for drug dealers, crooks etc, which is what it started of as. As for satochi, who is said to have created it, he is probably very rich, Don't forget you hodlers, you only make money when you sell. But if most of you sell then the price will collapse. Overall, on average you can't win. Some win, but most will lose. Most of the winners have already cashed out, Do you feel lucky punk? (not you mole). I think though mole you should stick to what seem to know a lot about, the stock market. Good luck mate.
