Boo. Because I have never wanted to re invest my divi's in an I.S.A. before. I normally invest when I see fit, not when I get my divi. But I wasn't sure if I could invest anymore after reaching the £20K limit.

Fleccy. Thank you for your reply. As from today we have all our shares invested in I.S.A.'s, so don't have to worry about offsetting gains. I have been a bit lucky selling all our vod non I.S.A. shares at 118.14 & buying them back (most I bought before the sale at about 116.5 then the rest at 113 up to our I.S.A. limit at a lower price). (more luck than judgement) I meant to hold on for 120+ for the sale, but lost my nerve & I was annoyed with myself when the sp hit about 122. Then came the big fall, so I was glad I sold. Shame about the big fall, but I reckon vod will get back to 118+ soon. fleccy. Do you know if we can auto re invest our August divi's in our I.S.A.'s, or would it push us over the I.S.A. limit? cheers mate.

Fleccy. You mentioned a gain of £21,964 on vodafone shares. I am only talking about vodafone shares, not any other shares, just vodafone, & clearly you made a loss on some which you chose to ignore. But that's your choice. If I lose £5000 on vodafone shares, but sell them & make a £5000 gain on Lloyds shares, I have still lost £5000 on vodafone shares. I can pretend otherwise, but why would I. You have completely destroyed your often made argument that you only lose when you sell. You sold, so you lost.

Abject performer. fleccy has a paper gain on his current holding of vod shares, but he doesn't include the loss he made on the one's he sold not long ago. This is from someone who often insists you only lose when you sell. If it makes him happy then fine, but he is only kidding himself.

Nezlob. Where did you get the divi has been halved from? It is to be increased by 2.5%.

Narcus. I would buy some more if I were you. Best way to get your money back, but risky of course. We should have done a dry Koke I guess. Good luck.

Dry66Koke. Well done with your prediction. I sold some recently to buy back in an I.S.A. when I get the funds, but only about 9%. I was very surprised by the fall.

Dry66Koke. When I talk about losers, I mean those who think they can short trade & beat the market. I have bought in the past vod shares at 2.20 + & was down about 150 thousand pounds, but I re invested when the sp was about 70p & I am now about even & the divi is on top. Never short trade, buy & hold. Or just sell. The winners on the stock market make there money on the one's who can't make up there mind. No point moaning, be happy! lay off the the Koke though??!! Dry66Koke. Welcome. You may well be right about tomorrow, but my advice to you is never forget the costs of selling & buying back because short term traders on average will lose money. (Unless you are god) Which contrary to rumour, I am not! But you don't come across as a moaning loser, so good luck. Lets hope notdeadyet gets the 1.50 year end right? But 1.30 + divi will do me

Robleo. So it looks like you are back on board again. Good luck. This forum goes from negative to positive faster than A/C. I finally dumped all my non I.S.A. shares for tax reasons & that rip off broker interactive investor , but will buy some back up to my I.S.A. limit when I get the funds this week with my new broker. Good luck to all positive vod shareholders.

By the way, on a positive note, a good day for the vod share price. I am still hoping to sell my vod non I.S. A. shares at 1.20 + but have missed it twice now. So wish me luck, O.K. Kums says moving up nicely, Mikey says "never say that with vodafone" I think that is a very negative comment. Sorry but that is my opinion. I am very positive about vodafone on the vod share chat, sorry if that is a problem, but you need to get over it. No need for insults. Good luck Mikey.

Mikey. I am pleased you think of me as a god, but you don't need to because I am not.. You clearly have an inferiority complex. Get over it. You only ever post on here when the share price falls. Your 58p share save looks fantastic to me, so why can't you be positive about vod instead of your negative posts. I wish I had a 58p share save option. Good luck with it.
