Eventually if the banks and debt holders sell hammerson may be able to pick up a few centres, but they will need pay for them. That hmso rights issue is still very much on the cards

I'm a little disappointed to see this share near 35% off the recent high. What will the share price need to get over this level?

think it was a buy this time, but they had a similar position a few weeks ago which they sold, so it was a buy and then a sale and looks like they have bought back again,

maybe they are trading the share!

only thing i do not like about this company is it is small and not very diversified.....

Mmm that's interesting Baribo, I haven't checked it but I never noted that, I just thought that the 15% included that which they held by instruments. I had only thought the last Rns equalled an additional 1% button good to see. I do see this as positive for the coming months.

Not invested but this is definately on my radar, a popular company of the high street that some how maintains quite high operating margins, despite a relatively low value product. if you like moats, think the moat of this company is its pricing. who can compete with them? quite often pays a special dividend. (i know they have shelved the div for now -- i think) numbers will be rubbish for a year or so, but could be a good buy, certainly it was at the recent lows. Definately on my radar......................

This covid had been calamatious to the UK economy, the cure appears worse than the cause. I'm still fully invested {7% cash} but jeez its looking bad for the future

Agree with you Bladley, nothing materially has changed, but for the time being momentum has stalled out and reversed. hopefully some packed (1-2m distance please) sites and some good financial news and we'll recoup some of our earlier losses (long term holders) and recoup a bit of market cap....

Gosh Goldmans were just in for a quick trade, wasn't expecting that! but had noted that when announced, did not do anything for the share price. Guess that was the reason

Looks like additional buyers may not be enough to maintain share price momentum alone, now that we are close to 20p off the recent highs... Positive news will now be need to propell hammerson higher, would be nice to read of a much improved level of rents collected ..... or other positive news...

Not fully sure I follow your thinking Alexios, effectively the debt holders already own intu, they still would after intu collapse. Hammerson are in no position to buy assets, unless they raise equity.
I'd like to see them buy some quality assets and consolidate at a time of crisis but, they would need financial assistance. Gla for Monday, let's preferably hold on to our gains

I'm not sure i'm expecting a good day on Monday. Was there not news of the potential administration of Intu yesterday? that is likely to hit hammerson so i'm expecting a down day. If intu does go into admin, and properties come to the market, that will have a negative effect on valuations...

Might be wrong, maybe administration (intu) already fully priced into this market
