eme up to 2.50 ..... i have had plenty of stunning sex in my relatively long life and know there will be more to come!
CHP - just stay put and don't even try to finesse .... much too difficult
DOO + BFC - though they are competitors in the biofuel industry, it does not mean that they cannot both prosper ...... i think doo is particularly well placed, which you can find out by some pretty basic reserch ..... bfc is now doing well, or seemingly so, and due to its somewhat shaky financial status could easily become a t/o target again, as it was for doo just briefly a couple of months back. I have traded both long and short of BFC, and am currently long. I bought and sold DOO for a nice profit a few weeks back, and am now looking to get back in as i think the fall today was almsot foolish, let alone overdone
DOO - fall today following a good announcement must surely have been just the frothy boys clearing off ..... buy first thing tomorrow and lock them away, together with BFC
why do i always get the blame? ...... just cos i'm a cheeky chappie (aka max miller, but before your time i hope) and have a reputation for saying what others only dare think!
this is the only site where i venture .... took a 2 minute look at advfn and walked away as i thought it was a load of rubbish
Thanks for the slightly obtuse defense of me ..... in truth, i usually ignore such nonsense but the play on canaletto's name was too good to miss ..... actuall, my initial comment was not not really aimed at canaletto at all, but merely a general observation
so huffy puffy .... you should try painting; perhaps you will find you have a talent
CHP - i am amazed by the patience of martin groak, who musyt be getting truly fed up with enquiries for news from small investors .... the fact of the matter is that when there is news that can be announced, it will appear and not before
RDS (FTSE) - certainly not to my surprise, FTSE has fallen back through the psychological 6000 mark ...... do not be surprised to see a fall >50 before the budget, and depending what nastiness that brings, perhaps more thereafter, especially if mr b decides the oil majors can cough up another lump on windfall profits (i think about 30% of ftse comes from oil/mining)
RDS (FTSE) - a day to watch the paint dry ...... though lunchtime index is +23 after +42, this is really just on the back of the bid for pruand would not be at all surprised to see further drift today and tomorrow and wednesday especially with budget imminent
CHP - 9 million traded on Friday was also no big deal insofar as the norm is 6 million anyway
CHP - don't forget that 100k shares = only £16k, which is less than peanuts
GOOG - i have folowed this closely over the last months, sometimes making money and sometimes losing it ..... my strong advice at the moment is to STAY AWAY ..... it has always been a pretty hair-raising stock with wild fluctuations in either direction ..... at the moment GOOG has lost the confidence of IPs and is thus tending downwards ..... on fundamentals it is also still badly over-valued, though that fact has frequently been overlooked (rightly or wrongly) ..... unless you are in position to watch this stock on screen through Wall Street's hours, have money to burn, enjoy bungee jumping and can set yourself strict trading parameters, STAY AWAY!
GTL - sorry but gow on earth can anyone guess a future price? ..... it's tough enough guessingf which way the whole market will move on the morrow .... beware of anyone who claims that price of share X will doudle/treble within the next few weeks/months ..... evn the directors would not know such things!
CHP - it will be interesting to watch the volumes over the next few days .... average number of trades is just over 6 million shares
MALIBUSTEVE - i am 90% certain that we have common biz interests that could complement each other ...... please contact me on ranciduk@aol.com
ELP - i have re-read what i wrote on 4/3 and stand by it ..... i have never liked the management and imo if you aren't out of here then you would be well advised to do so ... whether or not sp is below the issue price is irrelevant ..... i don't think the lemmings will be suckered in quite so easily next time elp say they are about to spud .... this last failed field was meant to be their jewel in the crown ..... nowt but paste it transpired!
MPH - moda usa is more much important than i thought .... apparently they hold the distribution rights for ungaro in usa ..... it follows that mph now have a significant money-making brand in usa.
