I asume an FPSO is a partner for the project ..... all in all, potentially very interesting, but production is AT LEAST a year away ..... that does not mean that there will not be a lot of excitement in the share in the immediate future, but in reality, imo, it would all be a bit premature

SEX - nominee - i have searched diligently under your ticker SEX but can find nothing listed ..... is this some new oil company perhaps expecting a gusher or similar?

CHP - what big sell-off? ..... price was up on the day while we all await news, and that final sale of 473k = only and <£80k; what's the big deal?

CHP - you are right, but the announcement will not come for several days thereafter - i.e. by the end of the month as was stated

CHP - announcement is probaly not going to appear until tomorrow week ..... it is only CHP meeting today and NOT the day for any announcement

FINE WINES - personally i do not care for brandy very much, an am much happier with port or, if you can find it, really good and very very old madeira ...... something one can occasionally buy (try Farr Vintners) and which i highly recommend is very old Banyuls .... this is a naturally sweet wine from roussillon (from memory) ..... when young, it is not really worth drinking, but with great age, eveolves into somenmthing like a very fine tawny port

Lafite '82 will be barely ready and will probably continue to improve ..... this is based on the Ducru '82 which we drank a few weeks back and is arguably the better wine anyway ....... f'ing pompous git that cynic!!

TELECOM CONSOLIDATION - could have posted this on PXC, but it is more general ..... a small mention in today's telegraph states one of the broking houses reckons consolidation in the sector over the coming months has very high probability ..... particularly highlighted are PXC, Colt, Thus and a couple of others, including CW. ....... KCOM was not mention but IMO, this is also a racing certainty, as already posted to that effecet on that site.

BFC - i would not disagree except that volumes were strong and DOO certainly underperformed, though it made up it's earlier loss in the last 10 minutes or so.

BFC - i mentioned this company yesterday (see posting on RDS or DOO) but certainly did not anticipate today's very strong performance ..... there has been no news that i know of, yet on a day when trading was generallly minimal, volumes here were comfortably above the norm ...... perhaps nothing in that, but given that DOO had a quick look at them a couple of months back, you never know

DGM - not sure that i count as an original holder, but i have now held for a couple of months ...... sold 1/2 to lock in profits and am happy to let the balance run

PXC - sp has just shot up 1.5p to 17p offer ..... this is a MASSIVE move for this stock but as yet no announcement ..... surely one must be imminent, even if it's "no idea why surge"

uk market is bound to be quiet today ahead of the budget this afternoon ...... personally, i don't expect any huge overt surprises; just the usual sneaky approach of upping govt revenues through indirect taxation of one kind or another ..... however, with all govts now (rightly) getting in on promoting alternative energy sources, it is not impossible that the likes of DOO and BFC will receive a fillip, either directly through some sort of special development grants or similar, or just by the loud promotion of vehicles that can operate on non-fossil fuels.

now all i have to do is organise the easy bit! .... lol!
