There may be no reason for the big seller apart from that they are de-risking their holding from 5p, or selling their 7p warrants. No reason to suspect there's any particular problem with the company - if there was then the insider would be selling heavily and we would be well down IMO. We should still be getting the SPAC announcement and news of the first UK production imminently. If they're a few days or a couple of weeks delayed then it's irrelevant - if it's more than that for some reason, then I would expect an RNS from the management. GLA NAI

I'm kind of wondering why Ambeon, if they're really a successful local company with plenty of cash and high powered local contacts etc, don't simply take over CMET?

Just looking in here, I've held CMET shares in the past and kept my eye on it, but hadn't really seen all the news in the last few weeks.

Can I just confirm that Cmet (assume 500m shares after the second Ambeon investment) will hold 85% of the project subsidiary Redgate, and that Ambeon will invest $10m for 15% of Redgate, valuing Redgate at $65m, and therefore Cmet's share of Redgate at 85% x $65m = £40m? While Cmet's market cap is just £15m?

Looking oversold to me now, a possible bounce to 14-15p might be on the cards, although as we know it's a long haul share.

I see no reason for another placing at this point personally. I would say wait until we're well into the 20s if we need another final £2m say. I don't think all these big trades are forward-selling a placing, the inside traders always know if there's one being touted, and the SP would be falling not stable. It smells to me more of an orderly transfer of a larger holding, or orderly warrants issue as we've said. But I have no crystal ball of course, DYOR etc

Agreed, get the SPAC listed, production underway UK/Ger, construction underway in the US (all by Q1 2026), and then maybe they might be willing to entertain a sale north of 100p....

I would assume that there is some sort of link between the warrant selling and the expected SPAC announcement, perhaps they want it all done and dusted for when that news lands, allowing the SP to be free to move much higher?

Surely the 250k and 300k late trades at 16.50p yesterday were sells rather than buys? Most other trades yesterday were above 16.50p.

Next 3 - 4 weeks max: the much-awaited SPAC agreement and valuation... IMO it's quite hard to see a valuation under $100m and MKA holding less than 75% - which would underpin today's valuation on its own....

Likely by September: major US grants to Hypromag USA, followed by FID on the factory shortly after (Mkango don't have to pay a sausage)...

Likely by October/November: Germany first production... FID on Pulawy maybe, if supported by EU grants also?

Yes the Chinese still have the upper hand over everyone else in the world in REEs, for at least 5 years... probably more... the urgent, massive strategic push for Western REE supply is as important as ever...

Just looking in here, I know little about Fox or Katoro. What's the reference to Kibo - do they have a stake they're selling out of?

Market cap seems very low but on the other hand they are very early stage, don't even have any prospects yet. Plus they only raised 6 months' money in March, will they not need to raise more money in the next couple of months?
