Crown are getting a massive payday out of this, they only had $5m in cash and they get 7m shares in the new entity valued at $10 each = $70m, a 14-bagger. Seems excessive but I don't really care as our own shareholding is expected to be ** $400m **!

That's £300m or over 80p per share... Excluding the recycling business!

Guys let's not get too triumphant yet. We're all hopeful and quite reasonably believing that we're about to get a stonking RNS in the next 8 trading hours. But it's not guaranteed, there's a small chance the BCA could fall at the final hurdle. I have the scars on my back from similar dead-cert scenarios which went wrong. Everything suggests this won't, but let's just see tomorrow (or at latest 0700 on Friday). Good luck to all genuine MKA holders!

If a big fish is sniffing around then it's surely in MKA's interest to launch the assets onto Nasdaq and then the big fish will be forced to pay even more to buy a public company?

My guess is we will get the RNS on the BCA/SPAC on USA time, either post-close (2130 UK time so will be an 0700 RNS), or else 1400ish UK time for US pre-open. On either today or tomorrow, or 0700 Friday very latest.

Yes it's clearly in Crown's interests to get this over the line as well! My only niggle is the use of the word "negotiate" rather than "complete" the ancillary documents, which implies that there are still matters to resolve.

I think the final announcement could come as late as Friday 0700, if it goes down to the wire in US business hours on Thursday. But it could come anytime up until then also...

The RS news is a big deal, and all the other distribution deals also. Given the IP and the upcoming breakeven I would see 0.5p as an absolute minimum fair value today, and further growth to come. Just my view of course.

Oh thanks! That RNS is a real mess, news mixed in with regulatory bumpf etc, I hadn't spotted the Tylesley bit. Oh well even better. Maybe the management will try to 'wangle' their bonus then LOL

Good news from our point of view - the worst case scenario (the BCA has fallen through) is not the case. It's just a bit more time needed to finalise it. Good stuff!

No mention of Tylesley, but again it's only a matter of time until full production. It looks like the management have lost their bonus but them's the breaks.

It's been the end of a quarter and a half year today, some investors and funds need to do 'window dressing' and other portfolio tidyup and may have had target to sell x% by today. Who knows. I repeat that IMO a small delay to Tylesley going commercial or to the BCA completion is irrelevant. The only significant bad news would be if the BCA has fallen through, but I'm struggling to see why that would happen, when both parties will gain from it, and especially in the current REE environment.

I don't believe there's been any shorting going on, or else we would be much lower. Just people de-risking or selling warrants. The chart still looks good to me, in the absence of any significant bad news.

To me a short delay in UK production (if there is one) is no big deal. Ditto for the BCA/SPAC.

The only genuinely bad news would be the BCA falling through. But I find it hard to believe that something so obviously in both parties' benefits wouldn't be completed.

I do not think there's been any specific date quoted for the SPAC agreement, like there has for the UK production. We've just guessed that it's due around now, so that the final listing happens before Xmas. It could be another week or two. The key point for me is that Crown Proptech paid a non-trivial amount recently to finalise the deal, so they're committed, so barring some last-minute total disaster (

UK production revenues will start to ramp up over the next few months, and Germany revenues kick in, hopefully eliminating the need for any further placings.

The bigger news though IMO is the SPAC. If the signing has been delayed a week or two that's fine - an RNS or even a Linkedin post confirming that it's 99% complete and expected imminently would be helpful.

Cheap bid eh, if it's 50p in the next few weeks then I for one would take the money and run :-)

GELN are valued at 3x CPX, but as far as I can tell are still a pre-revenue IP/tech development company, whereas CPX not only has the IP but is actually selling and not too far off breakeven. Can anyone suggest why GELN is valued so high... Or alternatively why CPX is valued so low? :-)
