Well it's as good a wild guess as any other...

The "formal" section of the AGM will be about 90 minutes - 60 minutes for the intro's, presentation etc and then 30 minutes for Q&A; then there will be an informal "meet and greet" section at the end, when shareholders can get to chat to the Directors but if they have already had too much of a hard time earlier on they could choose to shorten this or even dispense with this altogether.....

CP it is now four months since that "H2" target was given and there is no way to my mind that the terms of any farm-out take four months to complete. Consequently the H2 target was allowing for further developments and that probably means the License extensions and, in my view, the 25 year development license. That said these deliverables are not within the BoD's gift and hence the H2 target can only ever have been an ambition and not an expectation in my view. As such July is just as likely as September and unfortunately October.....

We should also be anticipating conclusion of the C1 rig tender and KN1 work over in early H2 but how much are both of these contingent on the Farm-Out (or other funding mechanism) and that, in turn, on the License extensions and 25 Year development License....... Therefore we might yet be waiting quite some time for one and all of these; that first "license" domino needs to fall.

Kimosabi you state "In the unlikely event of a placing"... why is that unlikely? It looks an inevitability to me in the absence of a Farm-Out in the coming weeks. Indeed as many here have said it may even be preferable to a Farm-Out if the Farm-Out offer is derisory.

If the Management try to force through a placing ahead of the license approval they need shooting.

So regarding that "placing" or any other form of dilution; the only "assets" that Aminex hold are those associated with their current Tanzanian Operating Licenses - which right now comprises Nyuni and Kiliwani only; the NAV of these two Licenses is circa, what?, $10 - 15m......?

That means that any Institution participating in a "placing" has downside risk of about 80 - 85% if we do not get the extension of the Mtwara Appraisal License and the 25 Year Development license (as we know we have already "lost" the Lindi License). What sort of Investor is going to risk that?

I think we will need a license extension before there is any chance of a "placing" or any form of dilution for that matter.... And it goes without saying, of course, that also includes the Farm-Out. What is more a License extension (and certainly the 25 Development License) will likely trigger an sp rise, which would make a dilution more palatable. Dilution now would be bloody expensive - as it would necessitate giving away a large %age of our assets for a fraction of their longer term value.

And who is responsible for our being in this position?

The problem being of course that 80+ % of holdings will be in Omnibus Nominee accounts and the individual holdings will not be transparent

Drewky was suggesting that the whole article was scandalous - I was pointing out that whilst some of the article was scandalous other parts of it were totally justifiable imo. And what is more it is sometimes useful to have third party commentators express opinions that shareholders might even share but are be too timid to voice....

"scandalous" Drewky? Much of it was justifiable in my view; it was effectively raising many issues and asking questions that many shareholders would like to be asking; if I have a criticism is was that it was making statements and accusations rather than asking those questions appropriately.

And yes, some of it was both incorrect and libelous but not all of it.
