Will that not be part of the float vike? If the Company has a, say, 51% float via the IPO will Solo not have to "liquidate" a pro rata 51% of it's shares? I would expect so......

That depends on the timing of the Helium1 IPO gavdude - the IPO should provide us with some badly needed funds. So the question is when will that be and how much will it provide....?

Remember that 2P = Proven and Probable assets post the C1 drill that would be 80 BCF + the "probable" assets from NT4,5 6, 7 @ 8 of another 700 BCF - with a route to market of course. The 80 BCF of NT1,2 & 3 would be 1P assets - all "proven" - (and in no particular order) Dev License, drill, EPS and GSA are in place.

Unfortunately trrime those same assets are currently of unknown and questionable value and to make things worse in the intervening period due to the purchase of non producing assets and failure of our only source of income there are now far, far more shares in issue.....

Logically true Drewky but, as I am sure you are aware, just because a tender process is scheduled for 6 months doesn't mean that it actually takes 6 months. 90% of ant proposals will have been received months ago and the cut off for new bidders will have been set for weeks, if not, months ago. I am pretty sure that the BoD will have made a decision already BUT as is the case with the KN1 remediation and work programme it will need signing off by the TPDC. That is the bit that is not in the BoD's control. I am sure that the BoD are expecting to be able to give details at the AGM but there will be the usual contingencies for that to happen.

What ?!? What planet are you on? The shareprice of Aminex has been perpetually below the price of Solo ever since the consolidation. It is only this last week that Solo has fallen to match it. There was a time when the Market Capitalisation was 30% of AEX's too but those days have long since passed.

Yes irish a bit of a shocker but, I suppose, looking at it rationally not too surprising. Many people will have bought on the expectation of notification of the Farm-Out ahead of the AGM and will have had the 11th June as the cut off time. As we know that is not the case because of the reduction to 14 days as part of the resolution at the last AGM. That said I personally never had the expectation of that Farm-Out ahead of the AGM (it is totally contingent on deliverables not within the BoD's gift) and there is still time for a few material developments over the next four weeks; I expect the BoD will be doing all in their power (not much) to close those off. So I expect the sp to head higher ahead of the AGM.

matherdj, Drewky I am not too sure about that alternative strategy. Consider the often leveled accusation that "shorters" drip small SELL trades into the market to "manage" the sp down....? Well the reverse of that strategy would be to drip a succession of smaller BUY trades into the market. It may well be that by putting a small number of larger trades into the market actually affected the sp less? Indeed the orders may have been sitting with the MM's for a while only being executed once the MM's has sufficient stock but the volumes then attracted secondary buyers that then pushed the sp up as the MM's were short of stock.... Even one or two people on this BB were tempted in at the time I seem to remember.....

I would put a different complexion on things shirley; to suggest that it is the Aminex BoD that are having an impact on Solo I think is mistaken. I suggest that the Aminex BoD are playing the same "waiting game" as the Solo BoD; waiting for the TPDC and Tanzanian authorities to finalise the License Extensions, 25 Development License approval, KN1 work programme sign off and, possibly, the approval of the C1 rig contract.... Moreover the Aminex BoD have nothing whatsoever to do with the delays at HH. If any of these things were in Aminex's "gift" I bet you anything you like we would not still be waiting for them. It is as infuriating for Aminex as it is for Solo. And jamtart, even if that question was on the table it is highly unlikely that you would get an answer; in truth I don't believe we are imperiled as we should have enough cash in the bank to ride this out and have the Helium IPO around the corner that should allow us to cash in some of our chips (though a date and details on then size of the raise would be good). Though the longer this goes on the weaker our negotiating position and the less likely are we to get "fair value" for our assets...
