Seems sensible to let dust settle and reassess on further Q4/Q1 events or just when shorters decide what they are doing.

Phil. I agree. Shorters will now be managing this one carefully. IQ doesn’t exist.Been defuncted as inaccurate tool decades ago ( as per my 30 yr old Psychology Post-grad). “ Call me Mr. Picky”( Blackadder).
Regardless of this, as you say the more clued in shorters will be perhaps more defensive now. But the price is being very suppressed as usual. Could mean a while before we know as one poster has said. They will manage a buyback as and when. It may take a while.

My personal position is to hold well into next year. I’m not sure I see the negative here that someone does.

Because you have a tendency to get personal , there is no point me communicating with you . I have filtered you. I doubt you’ll miss my posts.. People are going to have disputes. It’s only a chatsite. In the flesh you may be a decent bloke..no idea. This is just a chatsite .

These chatsites should be about talking about the investment. Not the people. To be supportive is good. To offer alternatives to people if confused( not rigid advice) is good. We should make independent decisions using helpful information.
When people resort to talking about other people , it demeans the milieu of the discussions and makes the purpose of being here redundant. And it can make people gun-shy. Stepping over others’ boundaries is not acceptable. Letting people be ( as long as not abusive) is the right way.
But some people do not recognize boundaries and will not let others just be.
(Just what I have to tell people in my work.)
Free share-speech. Positive, confused or sometimes frustrated. It is called honesty .
( not unnecessary complaining).
When people talk about the other posters it undermines at multiple levels.

As a practising teacher and counsellor.
It is a fully accepted concept in all types of counselling and therapies that pretending to be more jovial than one genuinely is . is damaging to the self. ALL psychotherapies too !!! I have to help a lot of people at Xmas with this. “Be as you actually are” as S.Freud said. “ It is damaging to try to be other than that”.

I’m just going with what others have been intimating for a long time. A lot of posters.
Frankly I don’t have a clue. I know what they promised. Ifthey deliver..great. I trust no promises. I have been shafyed many many times. Doesn’t mean it’ll happen here..just talking about my low expectations. I never expect. Even after promises. I could genuinely write a book about that. Won’t bore you.
