See the RNS that’s lists all the shares that Dark senior employees own , including Options on shares , if shares go up from here they will do well and Versa vica

Their share options expire in certain dates , I guess these were awarded free !

Yes agree , Sheltie , be careful , no offer by TB could certainly happen ... personally I have decided. not to add , only sell at various levels as it goes up ...

However if TB do not offer now , and wait to say next Summer , then they might need to pay 1200 p or more , if USDollar gets weaker and Dark Profitable and grown another 30 per cent , a d if tech shares generally recover

So much much cheaper to bid now at 850 p , than to wait one year a d pay 1200 p ...
So far 2 weeks of discussions have happened , due diligence ,etc etc , my guess is now news early next week before Sept 8

Why not they announce on next Monday or Tuesday , then Poppy can announce her Speech on Thursday accordingly

Wow … honestly what’s going on with the information given in these RNS , shorts , longs , derivatives … Goldman , Jeffries , BlackRock , Dark and Thomas Bravo and others all mentioned … interestingly no Directors or ML , Poppy , Chairman , KKR or others have sold recently …. did anyone spot any of the Directors in an Aston Martin showroom recently ? :)

It’s first time I notice BlackRock in an RNS , are they a new shareholder in Dark … if so very positive developemt!

Agree - Shadowfall claims on Dark seem without merit , and false news …
If TB offer , and Shadowfall are short , then they will be short squeezed which at this time seems a risky exposure!

An RNS on takeover bid could happen after 6 pm one day … or 7 am , let’s see ..

Times are hedging their bets by mentioning Shadiwfall but honestly where are Shadiwfall short bets … so far can anyone see any evidence of shorts on Dark , so far Zero … and to do a short just before a potential takeover bid does not make sense …

Shadiwfall got lucky with a record drop in Nasdaq over months , high inflation , interest rate rises …
We got lucky with China / Russia … and good results

However some blind Times reader investors might be shaken out …
Times itself says Hold ( not buy not sell ) …
So far Volume of shares traded since talks started is around maybe 50 million shares or 350 million pounds of shares or 10 per cent of the company …
Friday over 7 million shares traded !
Just 4 trading days this week , very soon Sept 8 ! Only 7 trading days before results … we might hear news from TB even by tomorrow !

Dark will be squeaky clean on its numbers and processes …. Given past history of Autonomy .., extra careful - so Shadowfall scare mongering not based on a very close look up the Darks skirt , TB gets access to lots of information and will be much better informed on true value and prospects than and outsider like Shadiwfall would seem not yet to have any short ..
today still Usa markets weak and that will blow over to the Uk

Hawkish fed , at least 0.75 per cent upward expected towards 4 per cent
Stronger Dollar short term maybe
Inflation still above where they want to be
Tech general will head downwards especially those high grow relatively new tech , with zero or no chance of profits near term and high debt

Good news is Dark is 10 years old , low or zero debt , and close to positive cash flow , with sales growing fast and sustainably … strong dolllar makes Dark worth more and inflation means they might even have pricing lower to lift subscription prices .

So even if Us tech sell off again , less impact on Dark than before

I forgive Sheltie for the 420 p...but honestly going forward and today ...comments like .... Times is not betting against Dark....are a bit over the top....they already said Hold..

Those of you who want to sell, of course , feel free to sell anytime , its a moving market...but certainly still worth waiting for any offer with most of the shares ! If no offer , no one to blame ! But likely will be so far!
