French - absolutely spot on.
I think some people have become so complacent. The daily briefings are just numbers to a lot of people. We hear about so many footballers and other celebrities testing positive but showing no symptoms, and I think people are switching off to the seriousness of this virus.
Both my wife and sister in law work in ICU. I have heard horror stories about people who have been killed by Covid. Nurses who have picked up the virus on the wards, young and seemingly healthy people who you wouldn't have expected to have been at risk - having their lives snatched away in a flash. On top of that we have families who can't see loved ones, who never get a chance to say goodbye.
Hopefully Synairgen can get through phase 3 very quickly. People smarter than me are sold on the science and the results to date speak for themselves. As it stands we have one 'treatment' for Covid and we all know it's not very effective. Whether Synairgen is as good as we all believe, we will find out in the fullness of time. But in the meantime we need it ASAP because any lives it can save or pressure it can relieve on the NHS is so badly needed.
Right, last post from me while I am on this wine!
