In order to participate in tender contracts offered by the
UK Government, the AffiDX® SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Lateral
Flow Test has to pass an evaluation process at the UK
Government’s Porton Down facility. The first stage of the
evaluation process does not use the lateral flow test in
the manner that it was designed for and there is therefore
uncertainty as to whether the test can pass the Porton Down
evaluation process which could delay the ability to tender
for government contracts. The Group is progressing the
clinical validation and CE marking of the product so that sales
channels (other than the UK Government) can be exploited
regardless of any delays in obtaining UK Government
approval or tenders.

200M with an existing share base of 7236M, can't really say thats massive, less than 3%, if it gives the company the cash they need to close out some of the deals, then all good.

@wadogara, do you therefore have an estimate on when the 400m test secured by the government will run out, Jenny Harris said today that testing was at a rate of 1m aday, so sometime in early 2022?, i agree that we should be over £1 but not because of the DHSC contract, but because of comericial antigen sales, IF we can secure them

@tsales: I know the DHSC contract has a few more words and a lot less pictures in it that your usual reading material, but if you get someone to read it to you, this payment in March for pre-production wouldn't have come as a surprise to you, the only new information is the figure, and raises the question is this the payment from the November letter of intent (2.3.1) or phase 1 payments (2.3.2) , or both.

We always knew there were two payments due in March for pre-production

@MrIndia, You have to make your own decisions based on research, no one else can do that for you, they don't know your circumstances.

What i would say to you is always take on board everyones comments whether pro or anti the stock, never never ever filter anyone that is posting (other than the abusive idiots that just post rubbish), if you filter you could miss a point of view that could inform, if you don't agree with the post, simply ignore it.

I have shared my opinion , and its only an opinion nothing more, that the DHSC contract is a lemon for the ODX share holders, and whilst it will sustain the ODX operations for a period its unlikely to result is a re-rate of the SP any time soon, I have also shared that i hoped that the Visitect Antigen would see us over £1, but i was hoping/expecting the commercial launch to be accompanied with at least details of a distribution contract if not sales, so i am holding a little longer to see if they can gain any traction.

Trust no one,

Anyone who says "news around the corner" is just making it up, no one knows if or when news will hit and driving that type or expectation drives frustration when it doesn't arrive.

The only news we know the company should be in a position to release is the completion of DHSC phase 1 commissioning, but whether they deem that RNS worthy or not is up to them, they may just post of twitter about actual capacity rather than target.

Full year return of -5.8% (May 27th 2020 @68p), so much for exploiting the Covid opportunity !

Mandatory requirements :

• For manufacture from xx February 2021;CE marked IVD for included anterior nares swab and capable dropper tube
• MHRA approval for use in UK including Northern Ireland.

• PHE clinical validation pass (3B).

• Production compliant with ISO13485, ISO9001 and SOP for the device.
• The Supplier shall ensure that each individual test cassette has a unique identifier (serial number). This will be an acceptable

@Rocquet: We were talking about PHE validation and not CE marking, AVCT CE marking as you rightly said should be discussed on the AVCT board, but AVCT PHE validation is directly of interest ODX on this board
