RE: Are we about to re-rate BIG TIME?18 Mar 2019 13:40
Again, thanks for the replies Sharelock. I don't hold the same degree of negative sentiment as many here as I'm lucky enough to have a relatively low average, albeit higher than current levels. However, I do draw the line with companies that take the p*ss. Whilst at one point it would have been me replying on here with a lot of what you're saying in defence of the company, I'm currently straddling the line.
I'm not one of those who needs news by a certain date or I'm f*cked, but I do take issue with a company that has indeed had millions off shareholders, even in its current incarnation, and then does b*gger all to update said shareholders on exactly how and where the money is being sent. Collaboration agreements, new appointments and 'progressing deals' wouldn't cut it for a small business providing evidence to a bank so why should it here? If a deal(s) is coming then great but if not then they need to show some serious documentation on exactly what the funds have been used for these last years. It's great to remain positive but one also needs to recognise that the Mintys of this world would probably sell their own grandmothers if it resulted in personal gain. He may have chosen to keep the company afloat but I can guarantee he didn't do it in the interests of those shareholders who stood to lose personal fortunes if the company went under.
I shall give them the benefit of the doubt once more, but, with so many other AIM companies going under or being shown to have shafted shareholders at the moment, they had better produce something of note in short order.....
