Ah yes, I recall now you said at the time about Simon trying to gain support.....all very bizarre. The 'glass half full' take on it is what you've been alluding to and sounds very positive indeed....the 'glass half empty' take is that it's a very unprofessional way of operating and makes you wonder. Anyway, new man, new start, although I really do hope he breaks this familiar carrot dangling pattern that seems to have become synonymous with Nuog.

Seadog, not nitpicking but I thought someone said Minty had agreed to step down a while ago but a last-minute attempt by those close to him to get him to stay on resulted in the backlash from LTHs, followed by the prospect of him being voted out, which made him revert to the original plan? No doubt there's more to it all than even the previous insiders know but the claims from various posters that he was desperately clinging on to power don't seem to chime with reports around the time of the AGM? I have zero idea which is accurate but would be good to understand better.....

Morning all. Well that was a nice surprise on the boring journey to work! The crucial part at this stage imo is RE's ability to source and secure institutional funding. Without that important detail it would indeed seem like another of the 'carrots' the advfn board are so fond of drawing reference to. Things definitely looking promising again and looks like Graham and Alison mean business....

Did you think those kind, generous words would endear your to us?! Just when we were returning to a board that's a cut above advfn again, you seem keen to help us slip once more. Fortunately BT can never make his way back here so we'll never slide quite that far, however, this sudden aggressive tone from you isn't welcome and is most definitely far from earned.....agreed that we should snub it out before it escalates (or rather descends) once more....

Roy, I think we're all well aware of how you tried to dominate these boards in order to manipulate the votes of fellow holders. So it's okay for you to act in that way but when others express their views it's 'speculative ill-informed ramping'?? What's more, you had no crystal ball at the time to know for sure that toppling Minty might not have actually pushed the company over the edge too....the fact we have Graham now is down to the judgement of those who appointed him and nothing to do with your efforts to push your own agenda.

The one thing I will agree with is that certain rampy posts over the last few months have been as wild and speculative as the trolling that's been going on. However, as others have pointed out, Sharelock's posts are helping bring the board back to some semblance of constructivity and certainly not where you should be aiming your friendly fire.....

SBP. you don't know it's definitely off any more than the rest of us know it's TM and it's definitely on. All we know is that the company stated officially that 'Brazil' is still on. Whether that means it is or they are attempting to discreetly let it slip quietly into the background as GTW comes to the fore is another matter, but please don't (intentionally) confuse 'black & white' statements about the current Dommo situation with opinions as to whether Brazil is still in play for Nuog. Fact is that a CEO/PM is still on the ground in Brazil and as far as we are aware still in gainful employment for MFDevco....

Don't think that translates to share price movement SBP, which is what affects our personal ROIs :)
