I just had a very brief look and the Plaintiffs seem to be stuttering and stammering, presumably they comprise a large number of landowners with disagreements between them on various aspects of the case. I'm surprised if DEC haven't been plugging their used up wells considering as you say, and I've also read it in their trading updates / annual accounts, 'Each quarter they are reporting retiring (capping?) wells as part of their trading updates, can't be without reason.'

What are the costs of plugging the relevant wells is therefore the main aspect of this case, if there are wells not plugged ? and I guess Why would DEC fight such a case unless they had already plugged the relevant wells ? I don't think any judge would accept the 'we don't have the money' because DEC should not be in the business at all then !!

Yes, despite higher interest rates, and thus CFD charges, there's a lot more volatility in the markets and I would think higher chances of making money trading..., but I'm an investor rather than a trader though can see how money could be made trading from some of my stocks !!

Do most of them have Electric Vehicles - I doubt it ? Do most of them have Solar Panels and Wind Turbines or at least purchase their domestic heating and elec from 100% Eco Energy suppliers - I doubt it ? Those who buy the Oil, Gas and Coal and create demand for products and services which involve high carbon usage, they are the ones responsible !!

Personally, I'm heavily invested in Oil and Gas as well as Renewables, and hope for the best for both sectors, but can't stand the hypocritical Joe and Jane Public !!
