Oldbutnowisa, Yes, can't understand the retreat on Friday. Israel seems to be ramping things up even with some Israel survey saying that israelis oppose the Gaza strip invasion. Hamas should be forced to hand over the specific 'animals' who butchered babies and young children face to face as they are obviously psychopaths and do they actually want them to remain within their military and Palestinian society at large ? It's one thing killing children from a distance through bombing, etc..., but quite another doing it personally face to face. Even terrorist groups like the IRA never did such things.

Makeabundle, my intention is to meet the guy Longerwait and to see what type of person he is, not to hurt him in any way. I doubt he has the guts to actually physically meet anyone anyway as digitally many younger people, I guess he / she is under 30, lack a 100% acceptance that they are communicating with another real human over the Internet, except on visual conference calls of course and even then !! That's why so many crimes are committed using the Internet due to its impersonal nature, also much of the cause for the breakdown in society generally.

Bebeto, Yes and No. The higher the Risk the higher the Return If all financed and firing on all cylinders at Caracal gold mines then you could be paying many multiples of Caracal current sp !!

I feel the IEA are more attached and want to please the status quo politicians and climate activists whereas OPEC+, though they have their own political and economic agenda, don't care what the status quo politicians think !!

Legalwolf, they've had nearly 4 months to complete the A/Cs to 30/6 !! I cannot believe that they're actually unfinished. Per my last post, I think they're being reviewed externally with the Prospectus funding in mind. I worked recently in a family business with 9 subsidiaries believe it or not, and about twice the size of GCAT, which had a significant backlog. Starting on Bank Recs and then A/P, A/R, etc and moving up to the B/S, I sorted things out in a couple of months whilst someone else dealt with the current requirements. If one is organised, the task is much easier. I agree that there could be some motivation to move the sp lower to the benefit of insiders or those connected to insiders which others here have suggested, but it's all conjecture. Best of Luck with your investment, but I'm holding and have Strong Sell as I'll top up if it falls significantly from here. But as always DYOR !!

The RNS is pretty clear on all except the reasons for why the A/Cs are late and I think it's because they want to confirm with various interested parties re fund raising (the Prospectus) what spin / format is ideal. Not suggesting that they will 'cook the books' just saying that some information can be presented in different ways to gain optimum effect. I think the A/Cs are probably complete and are being reviewed with the aforesaid in mind. I have tweeted Caracal Gold to clarify the RNS reasons. But, hey, I could also be wrong and I may lose my large holding as a result !! DYOR

Doesn't the IEA realise that to mine the materials for low carbon energy that very large amounts of oil, gas and coal will have to be used ? They won't simply jump out of the ground !! Also, much of the materials needed for Solar panels, wind turbines, etc... are located in China !! I think their prediction of peak oil gas and coal by 2030 is very naive. Other obstacles are a huge lack of network electric storage as is evident by National Grid's inability to handle excess electricity generated by SSE for example. Prices of electric cars are also prohibitive (IEA says numbers will grow 10-fold from now to 2030). OPEC+ totally disagrees with them and I believe their forecast peak is around 2045 - 2050. What agenda does the IEA really have as they are hardly neutral ?

Folio, how can you tell what is a Freetrade (no charge ?) and what is not ? Most of the trades after 15:50 today were for decent amounts, some very decent amounts...

Curiously, there are some large and some smaller, but not many tiddler, Buys after the RNS came out today. I realise the allocation to Buy and Sell can be wrong but there's a 3m share Buy at 0.341 p at 15:50:01 as well as 1,276,500 Buy at 0.2351p at 15:59:53. So not all are running for the hills !!

Legal wolf, an important variable here is what the sp is and how much one's investment is worth right now. Many exited today at up to a 50% higher sp so now at a 0.20p sp I would speculate that less will be willing to sell, myself included.

LeddachJack, Agree with you !! This situation will show who has the head for risk and who doesn't. Nothing fundamentally in GCAT's operation has changed. I bet the delay is caused by disagreements between GCAT and their Auditors on some material Bal Sheet provisions or suchlike. I'm Holding anyway and look forward to a large jump in the sp when the ACCS are issued and suspension is terminated !!

Beechbum101, Time IN the Market rather than Timing the Market generally best though I feel a combination thereof is best, but depends on the type and category of share.
