Surely they could have done Due Diligence and used advice from another independent cyber security expert ? Even their Law Society governing body has other members whose expertise could be accessed ? Law firms comprise well educated intelligent persons and there is absolutely no excuse, and therefore should be no compensation, if they have made a mistake.

Duncoding, doesn't mean that the products supplied by DARK are at fault in the case of theLaw firms. Maybe DARK's products are the successful ones ? The root problems re cyber criminals is that they are developing new hacks constantly, that it is very difficult to locate them and the penalties when they are caught are too lenient. The UK is tryimg to deal with locating these criminals, but the penalties need to become much more effective. Re the latter I know what I would do to them, but no way our sheepish God-loving folk would accept it !!

BAE Systems PLC (LSE:BA.) stands to net a multi-million windfall from the flotation of the national airline of Kazakhstan.

President Tokayev of Kazakhstan recently announced that Air Astana, in which BAE has a 49% stake, would pursue an international initial public offering next year – possibly in London.

The stake dates back to a botched defence technology deal more than 20 years ago but could now land the UK defence manufacturer an unexpected gain.

The British company put in $8.5 million to co-fund the launch of Air Astana in 2002 as part of an attempt to sell radar systems to Kazakhstan.

That defence deal collapsed under pressure from Russia, however, and BAE was left with the Air Astana stake, which today rests in its books with a valuation of £63 m.

Coronation, I think the small trades are corrections by brokers / funds. Tbh, who else would buy 10 shares at c 119p even when no dealing charges ?

DrPatience, as you say 'it feels wrong if the large shareholders are not thinking the same', so why not contact / canvass the major shareholderrs directly as a large group of private investors ? Would they simply ignore us or appear to do so and behind the scenes take some appropriate action ?
