Did Cenkos not forecast sales of about 200 BDMS for FY19 (5k per unit?). I don't have the broker note so I may be wrong. I suspect the total sales of BDMS will not be quite as many as we'd want, I think semicast referred to a potential addressable market of 2000 vehicles. Hopefully this is on the low side! It's all very secretive and I'd love to spot a video of a BDMS in a driverless car.

SEE prob not involved here. Things have gone quiet with regard to integration of Guardian with Telematics partners. Recall this presentation from Dec 17? (see Page 7) We're nearly in 2019 now, so hopefully Guardian Gen 3 is introduced in the coming months and also integrated with the large Telematics partners (which KK couldn't mention lol) referred to last week in that proactive video.

Is it possible to drive a train and eat a sausage roll at the same time? Crikey, you wouldn't do that whilst driving on the road. At least most people wouldn't, but for those that might be tempted it's another reason for needing this tech.

I suspect those are the Gen 2 Fleet units shipped back in the summer, in the interim distributors have been running down their remaining supply of Gen 1 product.

Who was the initial BDMS sale to? Uber was I think discounted by safestocks, despite using some form of driver monitoring, yet there's no mention of Apple adopting such tech. I am therefore going to guess that Uber is our first customer! Waymo have been given licence to test driverless cars in California without a safety driver, so I am assuming will not be a customer.

Interesting reading given the recent hires by the company though I don't know if he was involved in the recruitment process. A cycling enthusiast also.

Only just awoken, VW are of course an OEM not Tier 1. SEE couldn't bid on that 1st Audi contract. My point still stands about the sleeping around.

I wouldn't read too much in to who seye are showcasing with. They won 1st gen Audi over 2 years while ago, yet SEE showcased with VW Group at CES early 2017. As A8 used to say, these Tier 1s like to sleep around.

I think there are plenty of folks who wouldn't mind swapping the UK for Canberra, me included.

Without being privvy to what's gone on behind the scenes it's all armchair speculation. It may be that a new CFO is desired in order to carry out a future fundraise, which is perhaps not imminent but likely at some point in 2019. Hopefully this will be on the back of more OEM wins in auto!

I'm as optimistic as I was when the SP was 14p. Obviously I don't like the fall in SP which I didn't expect. It's a tough market out there at the moment, as evidenced by the AIM 100 index:-

This stock is v illiquid. Trying to shift any shares in volume is difficult here, so some investors may end up selling in chunks of £500 or £1k. I did a dummy sell when the price was 62p and couldn't sell any. That's the problem with being in this kind of share. If it goes tits up, you have difficulty getting out.

BTW, it could be a good long term investment for ppl buying at this price, even in the event of dilution. The connected care/car genie product looks a nice niche offering, I'm not sure if they have much if anycompetition in the retro fit space (I understand there's an Italian company doing this for an OEM - VW as I recall|) For some of us who bought a good deal higher up, prospects may be less promising. And I'm not prepared to average down on something as illiquid as this. I lesson here for me I'm afraid.

Maybe SEE could licence out Guardian in a similar fashion to the off road business (which CAT acquired). But now we've appointed a new head of Fleet (Paul McGlone) perhaps this is less likely? I don't know.

VSI are our strategic investor and have always so far been keen to take part in any fundraise. What's their purpose for this, if they are not involved in manufacturing for SEE. Will this change? They must at least consider SEE a v good investment.

Just be a bit careful Sebs. A perceived black friday today could turn out to be a black eye friday traks track (pardon the pun) record. Btw, I wouldn't be selling anything here to put in over there. SEE are best in class, they're trying to be jack of all trades solutions and with it perhaps master of none. That's the danger anyway.

We had one of those proactive investor videos back in July, where Trak CEO John Watkins said he was very confident about meeting expectations for the FY which would be H2 weighted. Ring any bells?

I hold Trak shares. Ouch!!! I have about 30,000 shares, though that is a small fraction of my holding here.

It's a company that I think can go well. The connected care offering looks v promising, with the likes of The AA, ANWB, BT etc selling the product. They're selling diverse telematics products which appear v promising, but some of their product line appears to be struggling - i.e they've spent a lot on R&D for RoadHawk yet so far disappointing sales. The balance sheet is looking weak again so anyone looking at this should be a little bit cautious.
