Very true, what has happened in the past is now water under the bridge - most long term holders have big losses - but going forward an assessment needs to be made of just when to buy back in here again - we need to know the level of dilution first - but after that it is time to use the knowledge we have gained in a positive way again - well that's the plan.

She is travelling at over 13 knots so that shows urgency.

Enquest do have one good opportunity to consider diversification in the future and that is with Sullom Voe.

Sullom Voe would make a very good base for the production of Hydrogen from sea water with fresh water as a potential by product - both products could be transported by tanker. Wind or wave power could be used as a power source.

The new year will I think bring fresh enthusiasm and an improvement in sentiment that could give SM the start it needs to 2020.

Added to that it seems likely that Government will lend its support to the project - maybe not with the Guarantees that we all want - but just by talking up the project we could see potential development partners emerging.

It would be great if SM could get Johnson to visit the mine to kick start the process - that could be just as valuable as Government guarantees.

It won't all be down to CF - next year will be all about sorting trade deals with the EU, the US and the rest of the world.

Most of it will be down to Johnson and he will need some very positive momentum throughout the year - not just to silence the doubters but to bring positive benefits as well.

A deal to bring foreign money to the UK to fund SM would be a great fit for Johnson's post Brexit Britain.

IK continues to make good progress - last spotted by AIS 9hours ago travelling at over 15 knots - should be off the coast of Northumberland by now.

IK has now made it as far north as North Norfolk at a good speed of 13.5 knots - so showing some urgency that bodes well for an early hook up.

ETA is still 09.00 GMT on Boxing Day - Thursday.

The weather is set fine for an early hook up but is they hang around they could get caught out by stormy weather forecast from Saturday onwards and into the new year.
