Lets just see if Johnson tosses something our way in the January budget - this is going to be a give away/ spending bonanza - supporting SM would be a great way of thanking the people of the North East for voting for him and Government Guarantees won't cost him a penny - its all political now.

Its looking like a Saturday PM offload now - thankfully the weather is finally settling down - that will be 14 days since the last tanker left.

The trouble was that they were not ready for a hook up until Tuesday - the original ETA's confirm this - and by that time the weather window had gone - remembering they need at least 24 hours for the transfer.

As I mentioned a few weeks ago - the weather around Shetland has been very calm this Autumn - this had allowed the maximum amount of offloads.
Now we are in winter we can expect to loose some days to the weather - it looks like 3 or maybe even 4 days this week. But hopefully AK has continued production for at least some of those days and the next tanker will arrive sooner.

TK has gone HK has taken over - it looks like HK is positioning for hook up later.

HK was designated for the hook up but she was delayed in Le Havre because of the French strike - TK would have taken the load if the weather had allowed.

AK must be very full now - hopefully they can hook up today but the weather isn't t great.

I think that now the Government Guarantees will be back on the agenda and we stand an excellent chance of getting the guarantee during the honeymoon period of the new Government.

I don't think that TK hooked up.
HK is now just 23 miles to the south of AK and is steaming at over 13 knots towards her - hopefully for a hook up later today although there is another storm to come through later today and into Saturday morning.

Its looking likely that HK is going to do this hook up - she is currently just 90 miles to the south and moving at around 13 knots.

No clarity yet - we just see TK about 0.4 miles from AK in her second attempt at a hook up.

The weather forecast is for a calmer night followed by rising seas again tomorrow - so I guess we could see a moonlight hook up, unless the cloud cover persists.

Its not going to plan - TK has backed off - presumably AK has spun around and is pointing in a slightly different direction - so they have to start the approach again - currently 1.5 miles away.

TK is in the final stages of hook up - under 1 mile away now - hook up should be around an hour or so.

It doesn't look like they are going to wait for HK - that would delay hook up until tomorrow morning.

It looks like TK is moving in for a hook up from maybe the south east.

As for why Heather Knutsen is still apparently heading for AK - she was the first choice before she got delayed in Le Havre by the French strike - so maybe if she gets to AK in time she will take over but that seems unlikely.

TK is due at Scapa Flo at 23.30 GMT tomorrow evening.

The latest AIS is a satellite response picked up at about 03.30GMT - this shows TK just 4 nautical miles to the north east of AK.

So we may have a hook up by now - we need AIS confirmation to be sure.

The weather is getting much better all the time - so we should certainly get a hook up today.

Neil - everything is a risk - it's just the degree of risk.

With Corbyn we go down the path of a Modern European Socialist State - similar to France and Germany - high tax, high regulation, union power - personally I don't want that - if you do - go ahead and vote Labour.

Johnson will give us Brexit - harmful yes and those trade deals will be a problem - but a least we live in an economy where business can thrive.

The best outcome for Enquest will be a Conservative majority - that applies to all businesses - big and small.

I voted firmly against Brexit but we have got to a stage where the indecision is doing far more damage to the economy than leaving Brexit ever could.

I think that with a Conservative majority all UK based PLC's will get a big boost in their SP's - a real Santa Rally!!!
