The irony is that I lost money when his funds crashed, then lost more on paper when he exited ITX but having followed his lead investing in ITX now stand to gain considerably more than I lost.

Yes, I certainly didn't see Brent getting to $60, let alone $62, but when you look at how China has rebounded from Covid and how their economy is growing back, I guess we can say the global economy is already well into recovery mode.

Logic would say Brent may fall back but I am not so sure - I think it has some more climbing to do.

In these situations it makes little difference - certainly it seems some crude has been unloaded, therefore AK can continue production - if IK needs more crude to make up her load she will return and as a long as she eventually unloads around 500k the only delay is to IK's schedule.
Winter weather will always cause delays, in this case it doesn't look like overall production will be affected - in fact this year it seems that none of the weather delays have impacted actual production so far apart from short periods for health and safety reasons ie when there is a big blow.

One company that I do compare with Ocado from a growth stock point of view is AHT.

An investment with them 20 years would have grown 3,462% since then.

It just shows how you can get capital growth with equities if you do take a gamble on growth stocks.

If they developed a way of automatically switching between electricity generation - when needed - and hydrogen production, that would be even better - imagine a wind turbine that could covert 100% of the energy it produced into usable power - you could even have some turbines in the wind farm producing electricity and some producing hydrogen to meet real time demand.

Its important to note that some shorters are who are holding the stock are bond holders simply hedging - this can totally distort the apparent position.
