The markets love affair with hydrogen stocks seems to be over, at least for the time being, it did seem a few days ago that the SP was just going to flat line for a while but we now seem to be heading for a bigger correction.

The traders who fuelled the rise are moving on to new pastures just leaving long term holders to consolidate their positions, hopefully when we see the bottom it will be possible to add to our holdings again, something it hasn't been prudent to do for a while now.

Looking forward, if the next five years are anything like as good as the last five we should be in line for rich rewards from our investment - CWR continues to be a very strong long term hold - patience will be rewarded.

Hopefully Adam Crozier can see another £10 on the SP by the end of the year.

I guess we will see another big buy reported just before close or after hours.
The main thing is that inventors are buying, if the SP is being manipulated that doesn't matter, at least for the short term.
Even selling is better than stagnation because it lowers the price to let other investors in.

I guess Biden will be more likely to settle with Iran now - even to the point of upsetting Israel.

If Iran play their cards right they can get their economy going again on higher oil receipts and sideline the extremists in the country - hopefully they will then be in a position to pull back their nuclear program and end the antagonism with their neighbours.

Volume steady and above 1m for the sixth trading day in a row today - has to be good news - eventually.

Wow - that didn't fall far - just shows how strong the bull market is.

Not really if you consider that if a shorter borrowed shares at that level and were confident that they could depress the SP back down again - in other words let it run up, borrow, then pile in to depress the SP.

Regarding shipping, I do wonder if it would be worth Ceres developing a fuel cell that could operate using fuel oil emmisions.
Oil could first be used in conventual engines, then the emissions could also be passed be through cells to collect more energy. The remaining carbon could then be pumped into tanks aboard the ship and eventually be disposed of underground [carbon capture].

You cannot get it much clearer than this - maximum viability.

Its certainly within the time frame expected - new technology always takes time to be accepted and adopted.
The Ceres business model is also well adapted to accommodate delays - they are very frugal with capital expenditure.

Basically the SP has flatlined since November while we are in limbo waiting on Covid - I guess most of the SP movements since then are curtesy of the shorts.

The shorts basically let the pressure cooker release from around the £1 mark to bring it up to £1.30 in early November and are now holding £1.40 as the top.

Next pressure release will be when lockdown ends with a step up to £1.60 likely.

Looks like a good buying opportunity today as the traders run for the hills.

It could be that we see something a bit different resulting from the Weichai joint venture - hopefully the intention to develop a hydrogen fuel cell commercially for powering buses.

Yes, the reality is beginning to catch up with the fantasy.
The next 5 years will be interesting.

Rather more positive than the response to ITM's numbers at the end of January - that should give clarity to investors.

I think the term bury Autostore is more appropriate - if they want to be identified as a looser so be it.

It seems that it will take an energy shortage to make oil sexy again.

Regarding hydrogen - R&D continues -

It seems they intend to focus on key industries -

I guess the steel industry would be one of those - maybe if R&D was accelerated here there would be no need for the Cumbrian coal mine.

Excellent numbers - ahead of market expectations - great news for any growth company.

News from Weichai - intend to establish a joint venture with Ceres in mid-2021, following the successful conclusion of the bus trial during H1.

So good progress expected over the next five years or so - well on track.

I was working off the Art Berman link that romaron posted.
He has production at 73.1mbpd for January 2021.
The top production for shale was in November 2018 at 81.9mbpd.

Working on the assumption that the US couldn't match that number in 2021 in seemed to me that 76mbpd would be tight even with KSA in full production and 79mbpd would be panic mode.

So we can probably say that if demand rose above 76 mmb/d then supply issues would start to cause problems and by 79 mmb/d there would be a full blow crisis even if the US did start to increase shale production again.
