RE: I TOLD YOU SO!14 Dec 2025 14:38
Much, I am not bearish on The Rock, I just don't see what's gonna push the shares significantly higher in the next few years as Rig/drillships/fpso etc are all expected after FID and won't bring in sufficient buyers to propel the Rock significantly higher.
I think the shares will trade between (60p to Β£1) until production increases -thus it no longer offers the mult-bagging returns AiM investors demand.
You state production @ 15k but thats 'Peak Production' not the start or end, just the middle part. So I think 10k average would be fairer.
Let's say they pay $100mln a year off the debt for the first 3.5 years, thats no divis or meaningful profits until after 2030.So whilst its a derisked investment on FID its a long term slow burner now and no longer the bargain it once was.
I'm sure we're all still pinching ourselves at the 500% rise over the last 12 months on no news so The Rock's been very good to all of us who bought those lows and placing shares/warrants.
Of course, Rock could Β£2 a share in 10 years but only the hardcore Rockites will hold for another Decade.
Most of my Rock money has been put in a 5 year bond paying 4.6% and the rest has gone in Trp & Eua, not because I think they are good companies, just I think/hope I can make good returns there in the short ( 3 to 6month) term .
Good Luck to All, regardless of Strategy.
