I'm afraid there will be No Peace on any proposal Ukraine make and they know it !

Russia Will Not accept any Ukrainian proposals, period.

Ukraine has lost and is in no position to make proposals, they are only in a position to accept the victors terms and they kmow it, so this latest pointless attempt by Zelensky will be met with the exact same response by Russia as all other Ukrainian proposals.

So forget what Zelensky proposes, he's just trying old tricks to prolong the conflict -hoping to draw the process out for a few more years until a change of US government when he hopes the Biden Brigade get in again to support & prolong the lost cause.

I never listen to a word Zelensky says as I know he has little to no say on the terms that will end the conflict and I know he's just playing for time.

The US & Russia will make all the important decisions & terms, hence why Ukraine was not invited to draw up the US/Russia peace plan terms that are the foundations for peace.

The way things are going, this could hit the placing price next week.

Shares often fall to placing prices and the dramatic fall from 94p on FID certainly isn't done yet.

Its reassuring to see all appears well on the Cameroon front & JA mixing at the highest levels.

The Farm Out is not indefinite and expires on 10th Jan, as JA himself stated. I emailed him.

I think its positive that there's been no rns as if the Farm Out had not been extended then this would have been rns'd today as it expired on Saturday 10th. Obviously there's no guarantees on this until we get concrete news but that's the way it looks at this moment in time.

As for government approval, well, we know its overdue and already approved but not signed so it can only be the elections and cabinet shuffles that have caused sign off to take this amount of time so we may have to wait a little longer but its also possible that we could get approval at any moment.

Let's hope the Green Light comes shortly !

Blue Defender....IG stated I must deposit the full amount in cash before 12pm 9th Jan and they accepted my oversubscrition and I never saw anything stating oversubscritions are being scaled down but its in the hands of the gods now, I may recieve all my oversubscrition or I may recieve none but as a poster pointed out, Rockhopoer can accept oversubscritions as they did last time if they want the extra cash.

Yes Robert, just as was here in 2020 when I was buying Rocky @ 4/5p and the doomongers had control here . There were some vociferous posters back then slagging Rock off incessantly and they ruled the iii board but all parted before the big rise.

Mogger, for all intents and purpose I am out, I had Rockhopper shares all over the show in 5 separate accounts , some in an Isa -some in standards as well as 12/15 spread bets, all but a few thousand shares & all spread bets have been monetized, I just never bothered selling that odd last few thousand sitting in one of my standard accounts as the monetary value was little and I knew Rkh had to raise capital at some point and going off the last raise where I oversubscribed and got all I requested - I thought it worth holding this nominal amount just for the potential oversubscribng opportunity that I knew may come if all went well with FID.

This is generally how the process & timelines works in Cameroon .

Farm Out Approval = 2-4 months

ESIA Clearance

( Should run parallel) =2-3 months

Exploration Permit Extension

(If needed) = 1-3 months

Drilling Authorisation. = 1-2 months

Conservative estimate for Cameroon is 6 - 9months.

Camwroon Summary.

Government Approvals. 6 -9 months

Operation Readiness & Spud 8 - 11 months

This is how most offshore Wells in Cameroon actually progress . If Approvals Drift od Decrees get delayed = 9 - 12 months.

So theoretically, we are due for approval now but there is no significant timeframe and with elections and cabinet shuffles Thali could drift for months to come but its not the normal timeframe for Offshore Drilling Approvals in Cameroon, we are already at the 12 month period, which is stated as the maximum.

Oh, we will 100% get an update Monday, if only to say the farm outs expired and been extended or not extended but I fully expect details of the next placing with this update too as this is what Jeremy busies himself with the vast majority of the time.Only a tiny fraction of his time is required waiting for a signiture and he's been getting long lead items for Thali the last 7 years now without actually getting much, if anything at all.

You cannot fault the man for placings, they are always prompt, regular & at ever lower prices 👍

I wouldn't be surprised if the Farm out partners walked as I would've expected them to extend before the last day if they were going to , as a company, you cannot wait indefinitely for a government signature without any clue as to the timeframe .

We shall see Monday but I'm not expecting any progress or anything positive, just another placing.

So we can expect an update Monday on whether or not its been extended and I would be anazed if this update is not also accompanied by the mandatory placing, if not a another placing Monday, its 110% certain a placing is Imminent but I would expect Jeremy to get January's placing done ASAP so he can prepare Feburarys placing 👍

Just to update my followers as I don't post here often- I have, I believe, found the next Rockhopper (pre-rise Rock).

This company has/similarities to the pre-rise Rock in that it has huge assets that cannot be monetised at the moment, nor until the war in Ukraine ends . So if you believe the war in Ukraine will end, as I do, then this company offers significant short term returns on that. No investment advice intended, just updating my followers on my next venture.

I will not name the company as this is the rkh board but they are a small UK listed mining company operating in Russia.

That's something only a holder would know as its confidential information between broker & client and not public information.

Yes Moggsey, thats pretty much right, I sold a round figure of shares 300kwhich and was left with a couple of thousand shares which I haven't done anything with as its such a small amount but IG have the oversubscrition offer available so as I still hold a few, I have been able to apply for 100k @ 53p, which I I may or may not get.

I will let you know what allocation I recieve from the oversubscrition 👍

Are the oversubscritions done on a first come first served basis or does anyone know how the oversubscribtions are done, just if there's all different fates dates from brokers, if its first come , first served, those with later deadlines may not get the amount oversubscribed.

My deadline was 12pm yesterday ( 9th) with IG and they no longer charge commissions.

That suits me as I mostly trade online and require no advice but it may not be suitable for others even though its free. They do not answer the phone promptly, which rarely botheres but may be a concern for some, other than that I have no issues with them. Trades are fast are payments processed within 24hrs.

Anyone know what date we find out how many oversubscribed shares we have be given ?
