I actually work in the industry and Bahamas Petrol Company has come up a lot in quite a few discussions recently so thought I would do a bit of digging to see what the news was operationally on the drillship and on location before making any decision on investing in BPC.

Being a bit lazy here, so feel free to shoot me down with the ussual calls of DYOR etc (which I will do before making at decision to invest here) . - but has the company released and guidance for how long they expect the perci' drill to take or indeed the COS for this drill. Thanks

Like, I said previously, in my opinion if there was going to be a no-deal, this would have happened many months ago. If the BoD's valuation and any potential buyers valuation was so far apart, one or both parties would have walked away many months ago. Also if the process wasn't still ongoing then under the M&TO code the company would have to inform the market staright way - they haven't. So the process is ongoing, it will conclude at some stage, today, next week, next month, very few know. I am guessing we are close, probably very close but that it purely a guess - any buyer/partner etc will want to start planning for next years mining season and put everything in place during now and next March, when they start mining again. All in my opinion, have a good weekend.

That, to me, looks like a great and shrewd deal and will allow the Company to get after the Silver at Elizabeth Hill and H&B (fe) in Aus', and continue progressing the 100% owned Los Campos and San Celso in Mexico. Well done

I agree with a lot of what has been said on this, but the price of oil could still drop back into the low 30s or lower and drag all oil related companies with it. Once the Covid19 vaccine is in place then confidence and demand will return and the Oil price will improve (I see a range of $60-80 pb by this time next year) - the question I ask myself is what oil companies will be best suited to benifet from this, and unfortunately BP are not anywhere near the top of the list. Moving from one high Capex industry (oil and gas) to another (renewables) will take time to establish and turn a decent profit, particularly as the returns from renewables is historically a lot lower than the O&G bussiness.

You ask "What if a buyer cannot be found" ffs. - if there was no buyers then the FSP would have concluded months ago. If the potential buyers and Eua's valuation was to far apart then all parties would have walked away and the FSP would have concluded - and under the M&TO rules then we would have been officially have notified. Also no one instructs and pays for top lawyers if there is not a deal either on the table or very close. All in my opinion of course.

IRR for MT, extrapolated to the current price for PGMs tells you that any low ball offer is just not going to cut it.

Always said Q4 for the sale and here we are. There are enough clues in yesterdays after-hours RNS for investors to make up their own minds on what the outcome is likely to be . Personally, I think we are possible only a few weeks away at the very most now - I also now wonder if the Company will request or be told to suspend trading in the run up to the probable LE, certainly possible and something that may suit the Company again.

I thought that 50p would be a decent platform to launch from when the VAL201 results are released tomorrow or early next week, I will of course settle for 70p before news :-) . No news tomorrow morning and we will surely see another rise tomorrow as FOMO kicks in prior to the market closing for the weekend.
