The Omanis have committed to the funding on the basis of the two extracts below taken from the RNS(the capitalisation is mine). While there is no specific mention of the necessary permits , I very much doubt that the Omanis have not received assurances from the Spanish government that all necessary permits will be granted timeously. This is not the only Omani investment in Spain and nor will it be the last , barriers to the development will be cleared away by Spanish authorities - they still need foreign investment to increase employment! From the RNS: "The investment is BINDING on the parties and is subject to approval by the Company's shareholders." "The Note is non-interest bearing and is unsecured and ONLY repayable in an event of breach of the terms of the investment agreement which includes a breach of a representation or warranty, a breach of covenants, insolvency or the Company ceasing to conduct business or ceasing being listed on either AIM, LSE or ASX."

Where do you get your info suggesting their reputation?As an aside it is typical that a sharp rise as a result of a broadshit (sp deliberate) newspaper is followed by a fall back, so plenty of opportunity for well-informed LTH's to make money here.This technology once proven , particularly from a robustness and durability standpoint, is the perfect complement to wind and sun because of its predictability and the certainty of substantially improved battery technology in the future. I have a time horizon of several years for this to return profits for the company and holders.

I've just bought in for the following reasons- Fall IMV overdone, divi at this price is ~6%and >1.5 times covered by cashflow,While discretionary spend is under pressure i think its more likely to hit higher up the market see TRG eg, trend towards real(ish) ale is good for GNK and sterling 's fall will make UK brewed beers more attractive in price terms, bit of a washout summer(at least in N England!!) will have had temporary effect on sales. I'm happy to hold for a long period and expect to return CAGR of >10% from my buy price~540 between divi and cap growth.

Flundra While the Omani money is good news in almost every respect, one thing it reduces is the likelihood by a factor of many, of a takeover, for better or worse they can now dictate what happens to the co.and as a likely buyer of much of the product they will be ever so careful about who , if anybody is allowed to buy . At the mo. almost 40% of the co is in institutional hands, that will change when the Omani options are taken up but Broadly the Omanis will have (and most likely will use) the power of veto on takeovers. I think such an event is now off the table for years , until the company is a much bigger beast than now. I for one regard that as entirely good news for investors , my worst case was always an opportunist pounce in the near future .

Also includes an offtake agreement of up to 1mill lbs or 20% of production ie assumed production of ~5 mill lbs. All in all a very positive outlook

The deal is almost quadrupling the implied value of the company cf yesterdays SP, So leave aside PA's wildly overoptimistic take it is actually exceptionally good news. Bear in mind that Oman(an Arab state with little oil) is building nuclear it gives us s deeply committed investor and major customer.

Effectively BKY have "sold" 37% of the company for $ 120 mill - given that the market cap yesterday was $105 mill that seems an extraordinarily good deal . Assuming the Sultanate takes up all of the options(and if they don't it is really bad news)BKY will have 330 mill shares in issue , an SP of 50p gives a MC of £165. IMV this deal puts a floor of 50p on the price and a ceiling of well over £1 (all calcs approx. will check later in the day)

Topped up this morning after results- fall overdone , results impacted by reduced Revpar in HI, due to lots of recently opened rooms,organic growth plans still on track, 6% divi raise shows confidence and the price of coffee is falling sharply . Long term growth prospects steady - i'll settle for 5%-8% SP growth per annum and 3-4% divi. Compound growth of >10% will do for my long-term portfolio.

Revenues £3.1 bill, PTP $565, EPS 246p, divi 95.8p, good, not likely to move SP up much after recent spurt.

FWIW I am in Cobham for the third time in 12 months as part of my "Jugglers" portfolio ie catching falling knives!! I intend to sell the nil paid rights and exit my holding at a decent profit- i fully expect an opportunist bid in the future but having cleared a decent profit I don't intend to wait .

All holders today should have an entry in their portfolio showing "NIL paid rights" you can sell these in the market(currently showing at 54.2p for me) or opt to buy additional shares(2 for 5 at 75p) or "tail swallow"- ie sell some rights to fund buying some shares(eg if you have 5k rights worth 54p(ish) sell 3k fror £1.5k cash - enough to buy the other 2k rights you own) hope this helps any wondering about options

Strong buying in advance of results, my reckoning is that weak pound, British factor (ie UK firm , pays taxes)and organic growth will lead to revs over £3bill, PTP over £500 mill, EPS near 250 p.

Dhaka price started to rise sharply on about 16 mar, UK price then around 54p, UK price now low 60's(allowing for spread) assuming the medium term discount of UK- Dhaka price of 30-40% is a rise to 75p about right?
