I decided to add a few more this morning at 39p - imho this company is massively undervalued and my intention now is to add on any further weakness and hold indefinitely until value is realised - trading update due next month, lets see what that brings -gla dyor etc.

Decided to dip my toe in here this morning at 184p - the ebitda reduction marginal and with recession coming pdq to the UK their will be plenty of business for B and M imho - will add on further weakness - gla dyor etc.

Nice to see a bit of blue for a change - lets hope the peace deal holds out! - gla dyor etc.

Decided to buy the 15pct of my holding I sold yesterday at 167p for 164.7p a few minutes ago -gla dyor etc

Bought a few more ex divi this morning at 99.9p to lower my overall average - gla dyor etc.

Superb results in difficult trading conditions - should augur well in terms of a takeover - said participants of a takeover like to see some meat on the bone and SSPG provided that today - gla dyor etc

Back in here this morning at 29p - anything linked to ALSA is a winner imv - lets see how it plays out - gla dyor etc.

Sav, its a difficult one - results of late for UK stocks haven't been all that great - the market has been hammering ANY negative news and overlooking any positive news - I think this is a reflection of the current state of not just the UK economy but economies worldwide - also the fact that most indices are toppy or near an all time high atm so a lot of nervousness around - having said that, interest rate cuts look like going ahead pdq in the states and maybe in the UK so not all bad going forward - gla for a positive update tomorrow - dyor etc.

Avocet - "passenger volumes no greater than 2019 so far." - not interested in current volumes tbf - more interested in future volume - India will be absolutely massive going forward, they are expanding at a rapid rate, faster than any other country - SSPG increased their stake in TFS to 50pct just before the IPO - the TFS sp is up 28pct in the last 6 months alone so a tidy on paper profit for SSPG - the only way for countries throughout the world to get out of the debt spiral they are in is to grow their way out of it - that will involve air travel big time going forward - you can see this playing out in front of your eyes with the Gatwick expansion - other countries will have no alternative but to follow suit in order to attract business and grow their economies - make take a while but as I said previously I am in this for the long haul - all imho - gl dyor etc.

Sav - I held just short of 10pct of my whole portfolio in SSPG - I never generally hold more than 10pct in any one stock so a 15pct sell on the 10pct I had for a 6pct gain balances my portfolio overall and leaves me with around 8pct invested in SSPG - happy to buy the ones I sold back tomorrow if the sp falls heavily or alternatively add on weakness going forward - this is a long term share for me - it may take time but I think value will out in the end, either by recovery or takeover - lets see - gl dyor etc.

Trimmed 15pct of my holding this morning at 166p for a 6pct profit, happy with that, will wait now to see how the update pans out tomorrow and either buy the sell back if it falls or add accordingly if it rises - gla dyor etc.

I would agree Pedro - the sp is now more or less below what it was before it won ANY of the recent contracts - the problem here is small volume which imo can control the sp - I am down around 10pct here atm but have decided to simply just hold or maybe add some more until value is realised, when that will be is anyone's guess - the board should imo be more pro active and purchase some shares outside closed periods to improve sentiment - gl dyor etc.

Yes - MKS doing well over the last few days - Cititigroup upgraded shares of Marks and Spencer Group from a "hold" rating to a "strong-buy" rating yesterday in a research report which is supporting sentiment atm - that is quite a mark up - well done to all that bought in or held over the last couple of months - I am happy to wait now for the results - I have just short of 10pct of my overall portfolio in MKS , reluctant tbh to put in any more right now - personally I never like to have more than 10pct in any one share - I added back a few of the ones I sold recently at 353p which is ok, - will wait now to see how the results play out next month - gla dyor etc.

Nice uptick over the last 24 hours - gas prices rising gradually, cold snap coming, soon be time to turn the heating on 😊- been under pressure of late at 170p needs to stay over 170p - lets see - gla dyor etc.

Hey Tawse, yes I would agree fully with what you have stated - for me JDW will continue to pick up business as punters reign in spending but still want a few beers and some food at a reasonable price - as John said earlier the hotel side should imv should be explored and enhanced further - re Greggs I almost bought some a few days ago at 1655 - cyclical and generally peak in winter month when demand is strong - I have it on stock watch for any future dips and will review accordingly - gl dyor etc

Market reaction to these results disappointing here this morning - concentrating on the 3.2pct lfl sales increase which was always to be expected in light of the NI increase - looking at the hospitality tracker though JDW punching well above its weight and imv continuing to take business away from other pubs - I added some this morning at 625p and will continue to add on any weakness going forward - gla dyor etc.

Carondean - yes I would say I am cautious on retail atm - ftse at a record high, inflation not yet under control, an upcoming budget that is almost certain to cause some more pain for retailers and consumers alike - the UK macro doesn't particularly excite me right now - having said that Tesco produced stellar results today unlike some other retailers of late - Marks had very little stock in their initial sale which encouraged me to put 20pct of my sell at 357p back in at 353p but since then they dropped a LOT of stock into a clearance sale, some of the stock is actually winter clothing, which has tempered my enthusiasm somewhat - so will wait now until results on the 5th Nov for some clarity before committing to adding to my current holding - gl dyor etc.
