GBP Just spiked good style - I think we may be closing in on the Brexit deal boys -

EU will accept the deal on offer imo - alternative is UK leaves with no deal, makes a success of it which triggers a mass exodus of EU countries looking to do the same, starting with Italy which in effect finishes the EURO concept - a deal gives the EU the chance to say well of course they made a success of it as they agreed a deal - that is the way it will be spun -

FTSE Futures down 1.5 pct already- going to be ugly here first thing - I have a buy order in st 125p if it gets there

on the other side of the coin plenty of people from London/surrounding areas who were going away for Christmas/New Year now won't be and they will have to source a weeks shopping - in additional Marks shops will remain open and able to sell clothing which their rivals cannot - I think this will balance things out

I will be more than happy with 180p hhi - if it reaches 270p I will be able to take a year off work! - hopefully a decent Brexit deal will propel it over 150p, that is my short term goal.

Hey Aus - you must be the only person in the UK who thinks a sovereign nation should not be in charge of its own waters - ffs surely even you must think this is unreasonable? - re food standards banking standards etc I think you will find the UK has some of the highest in the world - EU won't even agree banking equivalence even though our banks are more robust to deal with extreme macro/micro economic disasters than theirs - is that reasonable?

Bottom line here is the EU are offering a crap deal and expecting the UK to kowtow as Greece did when the EU smoked them out - after all it is in the EU interest to see the UK fail which will then deter any other EU country from attempting the same thing - no deal is better than a crap deal - better imo to put up with short term pain for long term gain

ALL shares will be hammered today - no one wants any money left on the table before Brexit decision on Sunday - risk of day guys

Looking for some positive news with the Ocado results tomorrow if this is the case and we get some good news on Brexit then this goes north of 150p imo
