Some massive buys went through today just before 3pm - institutions loading up after pi's have been flushed out - expect a bit of profit taking first thing tomorrow then onwards and upwards - ftse up nearly 3pct vs rest of europe in the doldrums - money will flow into undervalued uk stock going forward imo - gla and dyor etc

Not sure why anyone would want to sell this stock now - the cat is out of the bag - look at Israel who are the only country leading the UK in vaccinations - new infections there are going through the floor - this is where we are heading - markets ALWAYS look forward and this is what is happening today - disappointed with last week, I expected this showing then, still never mind - 90p on the cards pdq imo

JJ - If they can do 1M per day that leaves around 51 days left before the whole of the UK is vaccinated by my calculation - so UK PLC should open up fully by the beginning of April - that will be massive for business coming into this country while the EU is still scratching its arse - onwards and upwards for the mighty UK!

Didn't pan out the way I wanted it this week, still the covid numbers are coming down pdq - only a matter of time now before the UK starts opening up - GDP figures today beat analysts forecasts which is good news for UK PLC - onwards and upwards over the next few weeks with a bit of luck, if not I will add more on the dips - not interested in a short term play here, I am looking at year end to double bag.

Headed down to my local marks this morning to get the valentines meal for me and Mrs C - thought I would go early to avoid the rush - plenty of people in there though, at 815am - shelves on the meal deal were taking a beating - I have a feeling they may do really well on this as more people resign themselves to a valentines day in - on another note I picked up a jumper and some jeans in the sale - top quality stuff as usual -far far better than anything I have ever bought from Next - good signs here boys good signs

Have you ever shopped in Sainsbury's Boo? - depressing - their food packaging hasn't changed for around 20 years and the one near me hasn't changed its interior either, still decked out in a dirty mustard colour, ghastly - they may as well compete with Aldi directly as they are now in that league, in fact I would suggest they are below it - I remember when they used to be upmarket, competing with Waitrose, that seems like a long long time ago

Ally - the last I heard re Ofcom report was it was scheduled for March -

Plenty of reasons for blackrock to hedge - italian trial, speculative lawsuit, result of Ofcom decision yada yada - personally I believe the Ofcom decision is a done deal - we need the 5g in place to attract business post brexit - period - and who else is going to do it ffs - I will be adding on any significant drops and expecting a big pick up after ofcom decision is made

My concern here now is the large stores like meadowhall bluewater etc - boohoo and asos have took a large swathe of stores away so younger people will probably be less inclined to go there when they reopen, unless these spaces can be filled, let's hope so - MKS still showing a lot of clothes left in their sale across the board, I am aware that spring clothing was stored away in March last year so already paid for out of 2019 numbers, but if you are selling stock at 50pct you are not making much on margin regardless of this - I think a windfall tax is coming if only to offset business rates for the high street - not sure if it will come in for Amazon, but something has got to be done to save the fabric of society imo - people depend on the high street for social interaction as much as local convenience - the alternative is for us all to live in our houses like hermits waiting for the next parcel to be delivered - that is the way it is going and it needs to be stopped pdq

Correct 394k plus 38k significantly higher than the ut - I feel there may be a big rise coming tomorrow barring any extreme macro or micro disturbances

Half a million pound buy after hours trading- looks like the big boys are starting to load up - I will sell for 150p not a penny less

I have a feeling MKS is struggling with clothes atm with the lockdown - massive stock still left to clear looking at their website - I am still a buyer as I think the food will offset this but I can see it going nowhere or dropping over the next few weeks - I will be a buyer if this happens, certainly at sub 120p
