Looking at the trades over the last few hours the volume is very low with only one institutional buy at 10k that I can see - I think MM'S are marking this lower as they are short on stock, hoping to force pi's to sell out, or maybe marking down due to the London SA virus - I see this as a temporary pull back no more no less - I think most UK citizens will be on staycation this year rather than risk going abroad - all good news for SGC

UBS INITIATES STAGECOACH WITH 'BUY' - TARGET 125 PENCE

That followed two other broker upgrades with targets with 124p and 125p targets - more will follow imo - just sit back and county the money coming in now

tbf Neil I can see beyond the temporary issue with cfc rollout - I will be looking to add if the shares get hammered on results day - this is a long term share for me and given that a lot of the major players have given up on the high street (JL debs etc) I can see MKS picking up footfall and increasing their business in the stores that remain - I think they will also increase market share food wise down the line with cfc's increasing capacity - I will keep the shares long term for the dividend which was always pretty decent pre covid anyway - all my current stocks are big dividend payers or were before covid so I am basing my portfolio on this and aiming to retire with dividend income via my ISA to supplement my other incomes

Yeah saw that based on ocado not being able to scale up on new warehouses thus losing potential footfall I think that's why BlackRock are sticking to their short position

chris/tweed - merit in both your views - for me this is a momentum stock so yes it will pull back for profit taking and if you are trading there are in/outs but ultimately the route is north - momentum is everything right now - UK will attract plenty of overseas buyers looking to cash in on recovery stocks - fund managers are already doing this - SGC will capitalise - I am an investor not a trader and in here with an average of around 75p - my target is 120p - gla and good weekend, and as always dyor.

bit of profit taking today, nothing ever goes up in a straight line and it is to be expected after such a big rise north - I expect support around the 103p level here as new buyers come in on the dip - I am looking at a 120p target at which point I will look to sell -

Strong gains by the dow over the bank holiday weekend good news on vaccines and lockdown easing all points to a positive start tomorrow - I am looking to mks breaking the 160p barrier this week - lets see

Just been on the MKS website looking at Hobbs and Phase 8 woman's dresses - they are selling according to the data but the interesting thing is they are situated right next to the equivalent options from Marks and Per Una to highlight quality and price - not so much difference on quality but big difference on price with Marks around half the cost - that gives a direct comparison and concentrates ones mind when purchasing - a master stroke IMO -

MKS should rise today IMO on the back of Next results which were broadly positive - lets see

A product of the EU making I am afraid - when your leaders are so hell bent on discrediting the UK in any way they can by making stupid statements about the efficacy of the Oxford vaccine which has now resulted in a lot of EU citizens refusing to have the vaccine - you reap what you sow and it is they that are partly responsible for the current situation they are in.

Fleccy in your opinion can bt manage this strike with no impact whatsoever on the service it provides to its customers? - if so then surely it is best for the strike to go ahead, in that way bt can justify reducing the workforce going forward- give them enough rope and all that

I pay little attention to what Moody's say, never have, they are looking backwards at past performance, that's all, market's look forward - positive news over the weekend re extended shopping hours - that is what the market will be looking at along with a global shift into value stocks - I expect MKS to rise today -

Wow that touched a nerve Dan and you also got one recommendation - well done mate ! you are entitled to your opinion and opinions are like ********s everybody has one - the only problem is your opinions on vod are short on economic basis I've read through some of them and they are just generalisations - you really should put dyor at the end of EVERYTHING you say as it means the square root of f*** all in term of investment advice
