Morning Baxter - Blackrock increased by 0.19pct on the 26th May taking their total holding to 1.62pct at around 169p so a marginal increase which has had the desired effect as stated in previous email -

Blackrock increasing their short position - for me this is a double bluff to try and force the share down - its a marginal short increase which has the effect of scaring pi's and others to sell off - I think they are looking for a short closing position which is worth their while for a long term hold on a recovery play - that point is clearly not yet but I will be monitoring it - the bottom is basically when they close their position to go long - that will be the time to top up - long term I think MKS are in a great position - their latest results smashed analysts estimates and I think that is a sign of things to come - gla and as always dyor

Ok so if you plan to sell in the near future you actually believe the shares will rise, which makes your current argument very silly, if you actually thought the company was in such a perilous position you would sell now at 172p (current price as typing) which would validate your current statement

Shorts taking the mother of all hidings today and I wouldn't be surprised if they have capitulated - no point increasing self harm at the end of the day and that harm is 10pct atm - always nice to see the shorts get a bloody nose

Recent analysts estimates are 160 - 180 region - I expect upgrades down the pipe on these results - maybe 190p plus - 215p is stretching it a little but I expect this to move north just shy of 200p - we shall see

For me this is purely profit taking, BT has gone up around 10pct in the last week or so, hardly surprising that some money is being taken off the table, as the volume is so low I expect it is mainly PI'S cashing in - money continuing to pour into value stocks atm and with the divi down the pipe here the share is going further north imo - I see this as a momentary pause before we head to around 200p which is around where most of the brokers are pitching it at - onwards and upwards for the mighty BT.

Good luck for tomorrow guys - for me the results will hinge on clothes alone - the rest is a given - if clothes beat on estimates and forward projections are good then it could be a good day - the trend with results at the moment though seems to be on a buy the rumour sell the news basis so we could end up with MKS having good results and the share still going south. I think Jansen is plotting something in the future - only insider dealing if the deal is/has been talked about but

Larry - for me it is all about company growth - this is highlighted with the at&t merger - Telecoms is ripe for merger - far too many players around - Jansen buying big today - he has plenty of contacts in the states from his Worldplay days - something is brewing for BT something big imo -
