Heavy support below 140p - too much upside momentum with new players coming in large on the dips supporting the share price - from my point of view I think we finish blue today - let's see

UBS CUTS STAGECOACH PRICE TARGET TO 115 (125) PENCE - 'BUY' - UBS are basically assuming the deal is going through and the synergy savings gives an equivalent 115p share price - that is how I am reading this - so around a 20pct upside - I read an article in the Guardian saying the deal is likely to go through and personally I think it will - so a long term hold for me until at least 115p then a reassessment - all in my opinion of course - gla and dyor etc.

Blackrock and Pelham must be sweating a bit now - MKS has gone up almost 14pct in the last month, that has got to be a bitter pill for them to swallow -

Tick tock tick tock - the clock is ticking down on the shorts - 2 pound plus should finish them off - a repeat of the RMG share when all the shorts capitulated within a few days - Christmas food will be massive for MKS as people make up for the Christmas that was missed with families last time round - I would be shocked if this share wasn't well north of 200p by then - gla dyor etc

I am just wondering if anyone else will come out to play on this one? - around the 80p mark still puts SGC in bargain basement territory imo - in light of the Morrison's saga and the fact that there is plenty of money in funds out there looking for a place to find a home UK companies are there for the taking atm - let's see what happens

I said a while back on this board that this company would be taken out if it kept on falling, which is why I topped up at 69p - long term hold for me if this goes through as the cost savings of a combined company will force the share price up in the long term, based on future cost savings combined with reduced risk and competition, and an increase in profits

See Blackrock and Pelham still hanging in there on the short front - I think they were anticipating issues with the EU re Northern Ireland but that can is now firmly kicked down the road - can't be much longer before these shorts capitulate - I watched the same scenario play out with RMG and all the shorts went down in the end - only a matter of time now before this happens here - I am selling 3 pound not a penny less, and if there is a bid then 4 pound could be on the cards especially if MKS goes back into the FTSE and resumes dividends- gla dyor etc

Comparing City Fibre with BT on value is like comparing Chelsea against Rochdale - no offence to Rochdale supporters btw - the big players always win out in the end - I will add more to my current BT holding if this falls much further

Difficult to see when that is going to be going forward -momentum is now with Marks until their results in November - shorts closing will only fuel the rise in share price so unless there is a huge macro economic event I can't see anything other than a continued move north - gla dyor etc

Don't worry GS - employers will not want to be paying London Weighting to staff who aren't actually in London nor should they - people will start going back pdq when this happens as it surely will down the line - companies are in business to make a profit at the end of the day - I will be looking to add to my holding if this drops much more - I bought in at 74p back in December and sold 20pct of my stake mid 90's a few months ago so I will be looking to buy these shares back - the thing is when I bought my shares at 74p back in December the vaccine had only just been announced, so there was nobody vaccinated and there was mass furloughing - now most of the country is vaccinated and the furlough will finish in September, yet the share price is around 6pct BELOW what it was then - that does not make sense to me

The encouraging performance of clothes here is what has pleased me the most - master stroke to put dresses by Hobbs, Sosander etc next to dresses by Marks which are half the price - it concentrates minds with regards to quality and what you are paying for it - I suspect Marks has won a lot of new customers on the back of this - well done to all the long term holders on here, Neil, JJ, Chitling, BOO, Poker et all - enjoy the long trip North guys -
